So much has been said about not having a striker, without one we still learnt how to win, we got to the play offs without one.
For me the biggest problem is losing our 3 centre halves, if they were fit we'd be heading to wembley because Luton still wouldn't have scored

Fair play to Luton they played to their strengths they physically battered us every set piece I expected a goal. With Ballard and Baath in there we would have competed better but what can you do. I certainly can't have a go at our lads for being 6 inches shorter than the opposition. They fought as hard as they could but ultimately it was like a terrier against an Alsation.

Going forward we just couldn't get the ball through them we beat one man someone else was there. Yes our touch could have been better at times it always seemed to be just getting away from our attacking players allowing a defender to step in seemed at times like they've had an extra man on the pitch. We never had an unchallenged touch in their third and you've got to credit them for that.

Only way we were going to score was a piece of individual brilliance and it never came off. Roberts probably seemed the most likely tonight but not to be.

Gutted but still proud of the team. Get a good pre season in hopefully have a few less injuries next season and get a few signings in the right area and we will be up there. It probably was too early to go up but would have still taken it but we go again next season.

    Keep the faith.

Spot on Flash, we can all voice our opinion but in reality we are a bunch of butchers, bakers and candlestick makers, Mowbray and his team are the professionals who work with the players every day and know what levels they are at, who is ready to play and who fall slightly short for whatever reason.

I am gutted they way we played but there are two sides playing in every match and Luton deserve recognition for spoiling our game, they did a job on us.

I am proud of the team this season they have far exceeded expectations despite all of the unexpected injuries.

    Roll on next season

I do just want to say.

I am passionate. I tell you what I think. It may not be the flavour but it's authentic.

We exceed expectations but it could have been better with better recuritmment. Especially at striker. Gelhardt terrible.

Cheers for a good season. And we will be better next year.

Wondering who we'll sell. Hope we don't lose too many. Clarke the worry for me. Don't think Stewart will sign but hope we have a couple or three strikers lined up

I agree but that was a shocking tackle - however the ref had already blown for a foul by Hume

Losing our centre halves was a killer, plus Stewart is incredible when defending corners.

It was never a pen IMHO. Arm in a natural position, made no attempt to move his hand towards the ball, Would have been very soft

Not forgetting 2 full backs. Be surprised if any other team, including Burnley and Sheff Utd, could have coped missing so many players plus Evans, Stewart, Simms, Bennett.

Did Diallo get clobbered by their fans when they invaded the pitch at the end?
Saw him on the deck and 09 picking him up, but not sure what happened.

The one we signed to play centre half from a PL club.

Otherwise why are we signing him ?

If a flying winger can play ahead if him urely .....
