Our team can walk away with the heads held high....unbelievable season.....what a team.....what a manager.....what a club.......we go again in August....HTL!!!!!!
What a season. What a bunch of players. No team have had the setbacks. Goals and perfromances to be proud of. To those of you who whinge and whine about how we played tonight, or over the seasom, but have never threatened a coaching career, shame on you. Tonight was about 2 teams and one having more to call on. You seem to think football games are pc games. I would laugh if it wasnt so pathetic. These coaches and players have produced more than the sum of their parts, time and time again. You fans fall short. Sad way to mark what these kids have done.
All our tall players are injured, like literally all of them! Then we come up against the tallest and most physical team on probably the smallest pitch in the league. Bit of a perfect storm but at least we tried to play proper football our way instead of 1980's hoof-ball. Add a couple of strikers (3 if Stewart is off) and we will be right in the mix next year for automatics, no matter who comes down from the Premier League. There is no way we could be this unlucky with injuries again unless we have been cursed.
Exactly this mate, no arrogance trusting one of your most senior n trusted players in the biggest game of the season. I just love this team and club, so proud of them - to keep going n going n going with all the injuries shows the attitude in that squad. They have thrived under the pressure recently and just fell short Attention now turns to the transfer window, which im so excited about
Disappointed but not down hearted. With so many senior players out, especially our centre backs, it was always going to be a tough ask. But we acquitted ourselves well, tried to play football the right way and their three goals over the two games came from set pieces (two scrambled ones), which if we'd had Batth and Ballard may well not have happened. I know I'd rather be in our position then theirs, we've an exciting young team that's going to get better and better, I genuinely can't see them improving much further than they are now. Anyway, I'm already looking forward to next season
Strange post. That means ever opinion you give is therefore arrogant if it differs from the norm. I think most were saying it was a bad call and it proved to be. It's a discussion board. We will always disagree with the manager.
I hope the recruitment team take all of the positivity of this season on board and bring in some quality additions. It’s so important to keep the core of this young squad together as that positive, winning mentality will continue on into next season and rub off onto any new arrivals. Hopefully premier teams will be looking to us now to send their most exciting prospects to us to continue their development but I also hope that we can bring our own players in on long term deals. We need 3 strikers as I can’t see Stewart staying and replacing someone as exciting as Amad is another tough ask. It’s 15 - 20 minutes since the final whistle and I’m already over it and looking forward to next season
No, I was pointing out how ridiculous your language is. The managers decision isn't arrogant just because you disagree with it.
Well said as usual mate. I get some people just think in the heat of the moment and judge everything on the most recent result but we should all be unbelievable proud of this team.
What a sad, deflating way to end the season. Too many players off form tonight and our lack of defenders finally caught up on us. Nevertheless, I couldn't be prouder of this squad, they far exceeded even our wildest expectations. Can't wait for August
Luton deserved that. Not pretty, but I hope they get to the premiership for a season, and that’s only because I can’t stand Coventry or Boro. I think there are a few on here that are being very unkind to this young, inexperienced, injury hit bunch of kids. We should be celebrating their overachievement. I’m so proud of them and TM. HTL
The most senior trusted players who is a right winger who has never played centre half before, other than 3 days ago. Haway mate. You know football. Don't tell me that's ok.

I think playing a right winder at centre back is bloody arrogant and if I was Luton manager it's free game. They absolutely dominated that side today
People ****ing cry too much over decisions these days. We didn't deserve to win. 2-0 flattered us. It's that simple.
