    I used to work about 2 mins around the corner from where that photograph was taken, and while Grangetown is widely recognised as one of the worst parts of Middlesbrough (I know) the people there were generally really nice.

    And AB <applause> One of the nicest streets in the country.

    Yep you're absolutely right. The US has a something of a reputation for bulldozing old buildings to make way for the new, which is what gets Europe so many US tourists! Anyway, as long as they don't touch the unbelievably gorgeous Woolworth Building I'm happy.
