Everton has scored six more goals than us? Crap... Need to score six tonight against Leicester to rectify that wrong. As long as we don't concede 1300 goals in the process or we'll over take them on goals conceded.
another dive looking for a card. if leciester would actually run hard rather than play cheap they'd be better off. here come the subs. game.might just stretch a bit now. we should have killed this by now.
absolutely no movement in front 3 for passes. we will play ourselves into trouble here it's down to whether leicester have anything about them to take the chance when we cough it up. and we will.
I'm just honestly surprised it's "that close"for goals scored after all these years. We should be top of that by end of next season though, if not this season.
Season isn't over yet, but it's going to be hard to pick biggest bottle of the season. Chelsea and Spurs both had dramatic falls into obscurity when they were both clearly in the fight for Europe for a long time. Arsenal looked close to the title for a while but just couldn't keep it up. If Man Utd don't get top four after such a strong start they might deserve it for their disasterous end. Not sure if same could be said if Newcastle drop out. No one expected them top four anyway. As for us, if we lose our last games... It'll be sad but couldn't be called bottling it... We threw away our chances by October and somehow clawed ourselves back into contention.
pep. that horrid ego has developed a system there that Klopp has gone and borrowed Arteta can go **** himself
Maybe he can... But I still think Arteta deserves manager of the season... He came way closer to a title than anyone thought possible.
I don't think anyone expected Arsenal to do what they've done this season but Arteta has, in a way, repeated what he did last season and bottled it last minute.
in the end they bought a lot of players and had a decent run. we could be talking the Brighton manager for coming in and imporving what was there quite a lot.
If Newcastle get top 4 be hard to argue with howe De Zerbi has to be in with a shout. Emery has done brilliant since taking over villa taking them from relegation fight to European places
toney faced a disciplinary panel today. in May having being charged in November. as in... 6 months after being charged. Brentford got 2/3rds of season out of a player who should gave had a 6 month ban.
Begrudgingly I'd have to give to to Arteta. Yes they did fall short but I expected them to drop away long before they actually did, and tbh I was pretty jealous of the way he had Arsenal playing at times earlier in the season.
if he assaulted someone he would be done in a day if he called a ref a name he would be done instantly. if he was racist he'd be hung drawn and quartered. if he was on drugs he'd be banned instantly. potentially he could have been betting on outcome of own games here. we don't know but we know this is a serious offence it is bizarre to think he's been allowed to play on regardless and play a major part in his club season and get call from England to boot. maybe all the sponsorships by betting has gone to their heads
