I am not condoning it. I am pointing out that people will attack if they are attacked. Many many more innocents have been killed by the BA in foreign lands than British innocents killed in Britain I would imagine. It doesn't make it right but it is understandable imo. Would you agree?

    Yes and no.
Attacking civilians is almost always counter-productive, even if you don't consider the morality of it.
Blaming them for the choices made by politicians is also a mistake.

    Can I understand the concept?
    Yes.
Do I think that it's ever an acceptable thing to do or a good move to make?
    No.

Afraid it is. As is the whole of Eire, they are in the British Isles and you are all therefore British. Thats not politics its geography.

Unless of course you mean the United Kingdom of Great Britain and NI, Belfast is still part of that but the rest of you micks arent.

Island groupings may be referred to by their largest constituent island, which in this instance is Britain, therefore the British isles. Therefore, Ireland is in the British isles, but as an entirely separate entity and as such not Britain(the largest island). In the same way that the Isle of Man is in the British isles, but not Britain.

You're British. Get over it. Britain isn't the Islands name by the way, Great Britain is. <ok>

Yes, the Great part denoting it being the largest constituent island in the British isles. But that in no way supports your assertion.
