No idea, mate. I’ll ask on Saturday. Again, it’s ok to admit you’re wrong. No one will hold it against you except maybe Pompey.
No but was thinking about saying hi to the guys at Hove synagogue. Israel is incredibly overrated for the price IMO. Would rather go five star in Dubai for the same money.
It's an interesting one, as Israeli citizens can vote, so for a Palestinian to vote, they need to become a citizen of a Country that they don't recognise as existing.
Commonwealth citizens that qualify for indefinite leave to remain status can vote , not all commonwealth citizens even if they live here & pay taxes here . None of the refugees illegally entering the UK from France for example are but Sir Rodney wants them to be able to because they will end up voting Labour
I knew an Australian girl that had indefinite leave to remain here , she was awarded it because her grandparents are English. It's not that easy for British commonwealth citizens to get indefinite leave status here . Obviously if you have ties to the country then they should be allowed to live & vote here. The number of commonwealth citizens voting in our elections is pretty insignificant giving the vote to anyone that wants to live here would be cultural suicide. That's why Israel don't take in refugees & allow non Israeli citizens to vote , or there would be no Israel .
Like all the ****ing parties in the UK they will only accept democracy and the democratic vote when it suits their bastarding ****ish ideology
I won’t necessarily vote Labour depending on where I live when an election eventually comes but yeah, sounds good.
Just do it every 8 years until you get the result you want then never mention it ever again. Sounds about right
I’d have them more regularly than every eight years given they aren’t binding. It’s important politicians know the will of the people.
