Probably technically not the right forum but seeing as I spend a good deal of time here, why not. Terrific performance tonight from the lads, no hard luck stories or dodgy refereeing decisions, just a job very well done. Great to see the passion among our squad and the obvious pride in the jersey. Rant over, im over the moon tonight

Youll know all about Ireland after the Euro finals. More good news Turkey gone so their lovely fans wont be at the finals. What a shame

Great quote from Trapattoni. Be good to see Ireland at the Euros, what's the odds they actually do better than England?

Likely will do better. Main reason every one of the Irish squad will want to be there and will give 110% in every game whereas the Lampards, Rooneys and Terrys of England wont want to be there. Add that to the media making England favourites as usual for no good reason

Id settle for thatb ut only problem with that is Richard Dunne would be waiting for Howson. Dunee has been a colossus for Ireland

Clayton will get a call up before Howson.

Maybe but theyll unfortunately have to move to the Premiership for any chance of a call up. Theyll also have to become over paid prima donnas on at least 60k a week to get into the England setup

Ireland played well and deserved the result, even if they were helped by a dreadful ref. In the years I have watched Ireland, they tend not to play well but occassionally get a result, the game against Estonia was not one of those nights.
