What is all this doom and gloom? We will beat Leicester tomorrow and have a 7 point gap on Brighton with Brighton having 2 games in hand. There’s a reason why Leicester have lost 21 games this season

There’s no guarantee Brighton will beat Newcastle on Thursday to close the gap. Newcastle have only lost 5 games so far, 1 less than Man City who are going to win the title.

Both of us have Aston Villa and Southampton to play but on alternative weekends, and I’d rather be at home playing Villa next week than having to go away to them on the last day of the season.

Agreed. Were ahead and if we win our games it's irrelevant what Brighton do (well, bar is needing them to beat Newcastle). If we don't win the last three games, we don't deserve top four

if newcastle are not beaten then it goes to last two games must yield the result.

for top 4 it has to be right now this week.

we need 4 or 5 goals of Leicester.

however I thought Brighton still had 2 games in hand so yeah that is positive for us.

our job is close the gd gap and get 3 points.

we need newcaslte to drop 4 points. if Brighton win against them then it gives us a hope to take to weekend

Yeah, I'm thinking similarly. If he plays in a midfield three he needs two box-to-box midfielders to play with him. He could be another Thiago to us if we're still keeping Fab and Hendo alongside him, or unless we adapt and play 4-2-3-1.

in fairness he was seeing the better half playing rb first half but it just goes to show doesn't it.

Brighton think they can just about demenad anything they like at this point but they will knock the wheels off the gravy train here

again, 175mil turnover of which 120 is tv. a couple bad calls and they are in trouble.

    wages are nothing special.

they are on the crest of the wave here and need to just be a tiny bit careful they don't scare off the players coming in while harvesting the cash at the other end

this is the pain point of ffp. it's fine for a club with 600mil revenue to whinge about city faking it but Brighton represent the very best of what is possible out of the TV deals. they are simply unable to do any more than they are doing until they grow revenue streams.

    Bissouma £26m
    Trossard £27m
    Maupay £15m

they are releasing the cash from those. the thing is as whoever said cucurella cannot dictate what happens with the two assets this year.

caicedo signing a new contract for an average wage was very foolish of him. he will be a huge fee if anyone feels the need

when we hear about rice at 120 (he will burn out and do a fabinho btw), bellingham 130mil and people roll put grealish was already bought for 100mil.... well it still requires someone to pay it so when cheslea are stoney broke and under ffp trouble hopefully it will just curtail this slightly.

I think Brighton are dead right to try it on but I don't want to be the clowns paying it

It's been said several times already - just win all our games and see what happens.

The point is the prem has gone so mad thar Brighton think they can ask anything and get it.

fans are starting to talk like 70 for macallister is the going rate and fine.

they can ask but really clubs should do what city did on cucuralla and go get better value.

Brighton can quote what they like same as any other club the point you are missing is they have no financial reason not to go for top price as they made so much last season .
