I think that every stoke fan that has been to the game today should get a full refund.

Coates would sooner buy Vale than give Stoke fans a refund.

One of the joys of being a Stoke supporter is that you have to take plenty of low times with a few good times. As a Stokie for over 50 years I know this only too well. I appreciate that it a bit difficult for our new glory hunting supporters to understand this.

No offence Dunnet but I've supported Stoke (take into mind I'm 22) since I was 9 when we got relegated to what was then Division 2. I think it's a little harsh to call us all glory hunters.

I am not interested in glory hunters and I would think the majority of fans and posters on this site do not fall into that category; there are more than enough of them 'supporting' Man Utd. What I will say is that our fans, young and old (and I am old!) want to see a successful team playing decent football and thus making us proud to be a supporter. It's just that the older ones amongst us have experienced plenty of highs and lows and I know which I prefer.

Spot on Proud Potter <ok> How true.. I didn't go to Bolton but If I had done. I would trade the ticket price/petrol/ other expensies for SIX pts QPR and Blackburn.

Be pleased if you look at profiles of people you tend to berate me and others on this thread you intimate as glory hunters. I have supported Stoke since 1963 (not quite 50 years!) and am a season ticket holder spending £50 on petrol for each home game. I have watched Stoke in Division 1, Division 2, Divisiion 3 and the EPL. Travelling to midweek games to Bury on a cold Tuesday night to Bury in Feb 1998 when working in Sheffield for the day and then driving back South after, would suggest I am not a glory hunter, I support Stoke till I die.

That performance last week was not what we expect.

    End of rant.

Personally any fan who goes to away matches knows what too expect, so for the OP to ask for fans to get a refund is absolutely mental.

The fans know they are going to get, so why go in the first place, dont bother going to watch us away from home & save the money.

I THINK that the fans who do travel too away games know what to expect... T.P. trying to keep the pt we had before kick off seem's about the norm
Which, is why I personally will not travel to anymore away games, as you said don't go then.
But, WHAT they do expect is to see Stoke "Try, defend correctly, not just give up" From what i HAVE heard and my mates are usually honest guys.

We were absolute garbage last week, hence is why some may have come away from the Reebok feeling robbed?
It would not be the first time fans have been offered a refund. And i'm talking about other clubs NOT Stoke City.

I don't personally agree with refunds etc but IF you did go. Were we in your oppinion "That bad" or are some fans over reacting?. Not fair for me to comment because I didn't go to Bolton

Valid point, but it is still not acceptable! Surely they could claim under the Trade Description act on the basis that it was not fit for purpose?
