Didn't see all of it as was distracted with a house move, but caught a lot of it.

I thought their 2nd goal was unlucky, but these games really do make us aware that we REALLY need another ****ing attacking option.

Almiron and Murphy's decision making in the final third sometimes is piss poor, Willock tries to be messi too often.

Isak and Wilson may not be working well, but who do you drop and who for?

    Ratings -

Pope - 6 - Saved a pen, couldn't do much about the goals. 1st goal was unlucky, he couldn't palm it wide as there was an unmarked player there, and couldn't palm it back into the box due to players being there.. Did well to save the pen, Strong in the air,.

Tripps - 5.5 - Harsh to blame him for the 2nd goal like some people are, he was under pressure and the ball just came off him, and a lot of play happened and a deflection. He wasn't really at fault for the 2nd goal it was just a flukey deflection. Should have done better for the first goal though. Some of his defending at times was very good.

Schar - 5 - Some good defending at times, decent attacking play, poor clearances though.

Botman - 4 - Poor defending for the first goal. At times looks a bit lost. Still maturing.

Burn - 5 - Getting a bit of undeserved hatred tbh, wasn't bad.

Willock - 5 - Tries to be messi a bit too much, but good work rate.

Bruno - 4.5 - Some decent passing, but well off the pace due to injury. Made some risky decisions and a lot of off passes.

Joelinton - 4 - He's dipped recently. Is being clumsy, stupid pen to give away, plenty of stupid fouls.

Isak - 5 - Probably his worst game yet, but still not bad. Not going to be useful at LW against good defences.

Wilson - 7 - 2 good pens. Has to be MOTM.

Almiron - 5 - Good defensive work, but little up top.

    ASM - 2 - ****e, rolling around on the floor like a bag of ****e. ****e.

Gordon - 4 - Worked hard, provided nothing.

Overly harsh imo .... we didn't lose did we ?

Forgive me because it's not just you but it's like win and everyone gets 8s 9s and 10s but draw and everyone turns into Francis benali.

That was a tough game today and they battled to a well earned draw.

The circumstances were ignored all week.

I would push everyone up at least one mark except

    1. Isak, who I would give a 7. He was involved but didn’t star.

    2. Wilson, who would stay still.

    3. Bruno, who I would give a 6. He also was involved without starring. Don’t think he was as bad as some seem to be suggesting.

    4. Pope, who would stay still.

    Also thought the referee stunk.

1.Ridiculous number of fouls by Leeds before one was booked.

    2. Firpo should have been sent off for his tackle on Bruno not yellow card.

    3. Then Firpo should have been sent off for a second yellow when giving away the second penalty.

    4. Forshaw should have had a second yellow and off within 15 seconds of being booked for his gamesmanship just before our second penalty as he immediately ignored the booking and continued his attempt at putting Wilson off.

To name just four as there were other examples of bad refereeing.

Simon Hooper is one of the most unfit refs in all the leagues
Managed to scrape through his fitness test
The thing is with the refs fitness, once you pass your test in the summer it lasts for all season
He was sweating as.a.pig after only 5mins

Leeds.goalkeeper could have also been given a yellow.card for throwing a ball at a newcastle.player after the second pen
I think it was Tripps who he aimed it at

Your in-match updates on WhatsApp certainly were **** today. More info about your travels than the game itself. Only had 3 actual match updates, even though there were 4 goals, a misssed pen and a sending off.

I'd rate you as a 2. And that's being generous.

Longstaff still missed in mid, and Bruno still looking somewhat knackered.

A draw maybe flattered Leeds as we were well on top and their equaliser was a bad deflection.

    FOCUS ON THE GOOD POINTS:
    1) Everything is still in our hands with 3 games left.
    2) Fat Sam didn't beat us, and has 1 point from his first 2 games, and will more than likely relegated 3 teams in a row. "Big Sam guarantees Premier League's survival" Lawro always said. Hahaha.
