Yeah we are good at that.....35 million on a player with splinters in his arse, it's not far off the jka fiasco.....but he is a prospect
Talk about mixed feelings. On the one hand I am mightily relieved that we rescued a point but on the other I am just so disappointed that we threw away a great chance of getting a valuable 3 points. Two games left and theoretically we are still in with a chance. Bamford has to be left out for these two games I feel. Still can't believe he got 90 mins today.
Trying to be positive here. This is perfectly plausible scenario. We beat West Ham next week. They have eyes on the semi final in Europe this Thursday so we should at least out battle them. That puts us on 34 points with a goal difference of at least -24 going in to the last game. Everton play Man City (h), Wolves (a) and Bournemouth (h). They'll beat Bournemouth and get a draw at Wolves. That puts them safe at 36 points. Forest play Arsenal (h) and Palace (a). They won't get another point. They will have a goal difference of -33 at least and 34 points. That puts them below us. Leicester play Liverpool (h), Newcastle (a) and West Ham (h). As I've said above, West Ham have other business to attend to and Leicester will beat West Ham. I think they'll lose the other 2 games. That puts them on 33 points which is below us. That's without factoring in the Spurs home game.
Good on ya Sam, totally honest in saying we punished ourselves, not the opposition, i agree with him if we wen't 2-0 up totally different ball game, i think if we did go 2-0 up we would have tonked them, as the players up till the Bamford missed penalty were realy up for it, can't understand some people on here giving him a hard time, who do you think was available that could do a better job and would wan't to come here?. I for one feel were finally in safe hands, and if we do go down Sam would bring us straight back up.
What do you mean he's a prospect? People are only saying that because he cost £35m. I've seen nothing to suggest he's any better than Perkins, Joseph or Greenwood, but not as good as Summerville, who incidentally is the same age as Rutter.
Based my opinion on eddie when i saw him at elland rd. Very happy orta got snubbed by Arse. I like fish it has a nice smell
You are a smart lad Emu, let’s hope you are right but, hey, if you’re not, eee eye eee eye, eee eye oh, it’s off to the Championship we go. I remember being so happy last time we achieved that
Got to be honest, never really rated him myself but I can’t gloat about Leeds / Ortas failings, just seems a bit odd to me
It’s not floating though. You must agree there was a time when only a small number dared speak out against the hierarchy at the club and were subsequently chastised. I see nothing wrong in wakey pointing out he was correct in certain things. Doesn’t mean any of us are one bit happy. In fact I’ve often said I hope to god I’m wrong about the hierarchy. Oddly I’m still hopeful we can rescue this **** show this season
Of course you support Wakey, you’re virtually conjoined. It’s actually hilarious looking in, knowing you told me to my face we would never get promoted to the top division under Rads. The club has done it what, four times in our history and he oversaw one of them. Enjoy being miserable mate
Not miserable at all. Spent larger part of my half century supporting Leeds in lower divisions. Wins make me happy regardless where we are, defeats I detest regardless of division. So roll on 25 wins plus next season wherever it is
On the Orta front and I totally agree with you. He does however have 4 players he brought to Leeds playing in the championship play off semi. Joffy, Drameh, Huggins and Jack Clarke. Would say he does know his stuff when it comes to potential and why I would play Rutter anyday before Bamford
