Can already see why he hasn’t been starting.

He literally can’t even control the ball lol. Seems like a Sunday league player.

    Hopefully he’s just rusty…

Even when he wins it there is no one near him to pick up the second ball. Thankless task.

I don't think he looks awful - he's there for a very specific job, which is to be a ****ing great telegraph pole we can land the ball on, and he's kind of been okay for that.

Walcott is finally going at the end of the season right?

The circle will be complete. He started with us in the Championship and has contributed multiple wafty-fart nothing performances to get us back down there again.

We're screwed if they bring Mitrovic on.

Stat of the day. Fulham have not won in Southampton since St Godders was at Uni in the 1930s....

This is the most energetic AMN has been all season, arguing with (the frankly pathetic) Tete.

Got Saints on the tele and Notts County vs Chesterfield on the laptop. Got a soft spot for Notts County, hope they get promoted.

The one highlight of that half was Lavia's ball to Walcott (who was offside, but y'know). Got me to thinking how often JWP has even attempted a pass like that this season, and surely that's the main part of his job?

Outplayed most of the half. Woke up a bit towards the end.

AMN, bless him, actually having about his best game for us. 3 year contract coming up.

Onu-crouch-o is not the saviour. Think we can put that to bed.

I've often thought the worst thing that happened to JWP was playing for England. Ever since then he's attempted to play boring Dont Lose The Ball sideways and backwards passes.

Oh, the other highlight of course being Lyanco's clearance. That was fun.

If we all recycled as much as JWP does, there'd be no climate crisis.

JWP main job was to save us through direct freekicks. Once other teams strategies boiled down to 'just don't give away a freekick near the box and we'll probably win even by accident' we were fked <laugh>

    We are sooooo bad.

Not gonna watch the second half. That was utterly pathetic as usual.

    See you next season saints

Onuachu just reminds me of that tall kid every under 13's team had. Not all that good but can "win" a header.
