Bit of a match going on in Brechin. In the second leg of the play-off semi, Brechin have just come from behind against Spartans to lead 3-2. After losing the first leg 0-1, Brechin now need a two goal win for the right to face Albion Rovers in the final.

3-2 at the end - now for extra time. It seems the away goals rule no longer counts - penalties apply I've been informed.

Not my day - I'm even wrong on that. Straight to penalties...

    Bummer - Spartans win 4-3.

A 97th minute equaliser sends the match into extra time - never expected that.

Shame for the keeper after he had played so well but credit to Notts County .

St Albans through though after beating Dartford on penalties.

It's going right down to the wire in the race for the final League 2 play-off spot - still four teams in contention.

What a crazy end to the EPL season is looming - Everton leading 3-0 at Brighton, with a double from Doucoure. More pressure on Leicester..

    4-0 now.

    Quite unexpected.

As you say big blow for Leicester particularity if Forest win later.

Also come on Sunderland/Boro or Coventry!

Sure Sky would rather those teams with nice grounds and fairly recent PL history went up than Luton.

    ;)

Brighton feeling it a bit after a lot of games in recent weeks or just one of those classic out of the blue scorelines.

And now Forest are rubbing it in - 2-0 up against Southampton, Leicester back into the bottom three.

Probably unsurprisingly given the quality of player but 2 excellent goals in the Madrid Man City game .

Decent match overall when they weren’t trying to get each other booked.

The English women deaf team want to play in the World cup in Malaysia this year, but the FA have refused to fund them. As someone who has a relative that was born profoundly deaf, I do know how sport can lift someone out of the silent world they live in. The ladies in this team have to raise £50,000 by June, or they cannot go. It is lucky that people such as Neville, Gerrard and Lineker have seen it, and have come up with some money, but they still have some way to go. It saddens me that an organization is so down on its uppers that it will not cough up. We know that footballers are well paid, and it is good when they use some of their wealth to help others, but do we really have to rely on charity to help out at foodbanks, sports events, or providing a home for the homeless?

I’ve had some dealings with the FA through my coaching and helping to deliver football tournaments for disabled children. They are thoroughly incompetent, and when we tried to fill the gap and mentioned this was because of their withdrawal of funding for disabled children, they threatened to sue us. Because the calibre of people was entirely different between the two organisations, when the FA were directed to the fact that publishing something true is not libellous, no matter how uncomfortable that truth is, they backed down. Then they were supposedly supporting us (F knows how, it wasn’t financial and the 12 year-old with a sports degree who came to ‘advise’ at meetings, was terrifically out of her depth) they took photos at our events and published them as purportedly FA events for disabled children.
I’ve taken a step back now due to a safeguarding disagreement with my part of our organisation (they didn’t seem to understand that safeguarding included safeguarding coaches <doh> - long story) but WFC were (and I believe are) the real benefactors, through money and wonderful organisation. They have been doing everything the FA should. I could go on. Suffice to say, to me something smells rotten re money and how it filters its way down to grassroots.

Unfortunately in many organisations money often ends up in the wrong hands and not spent wisely or where it was intended .
