You’re damn right. I wasn’t in the room, it might be complete bullshit. Don’t know the details. Came from a usually reliable source on JA. Ditto Creswell to Stoke. The same Harrison story (including the spat between Radz and Orta over it) has recently been retold in the athletic and picked up by various news outlet.
The only reliable source is the one you put on a bacon sarnie. Unless it's red of course in which case you're a fecking heathen
Just had a look to see if I could find equivalents, based upon relegated teams beating teams finishing in top 6 of EPL 2019/20 season - Bournemouth finished 18th . Won away at Chelsea who finished 4th and beat Leicester 4-1 who finished 5th 2015/16 Season - Newcastle relegated in 18th did the double over Spurs who finished 3rd, including a 5-1 home win at St James Park 2011/12 Season - Blackburn finished 19th, beat scum away (who finished 2nd) and beat Arsenal (who finished 3rd) at home 4-3 2010/11 Season - Blackpool finished 19th , did the double over Liverpool (finished 6th) and beat Spurs 3-1 (finished 5th) at Bloomfield Road
The 5-1 when they were already down and costing Spurs a finish above Arsenal! I hope we've still something to fight for at home to Spurs!!
Aha I was only looking at a grid table showing all the scores, didnt say when they were played. Looking at individual results in date order, would be too mind numbing even for me
The DoF role also causing problems at Spurs. Paratici resigned due to a 2 year world ban, then Nagelsman fav for the coaches job but refuses to agree until he knows who DoF will be. Today Spurs say Nagelsman not going to be manager whilst other reports say Spurs are chasing 2 huge player signings? So who at the club is chasing this players as no DoF yet and why would these players be wanted by the new coach?
On a more positive note. Had a great night last night at our 40th celebrations. Johnny and Paul hugely entertaining. Johnnys thoughts on current plight. It probably doesn’t matter who the manager is as he doesn’t believe the players are capable of learning new systems. Bielsa should never had been let go and highlighted the “sheer incompetence” of the entire board for past two seasons. They had some fantastic stories from the good old days. Brought back so many great memories of what they referred to many times as proper football
Are we going 4-4-2 with McKennie Greenwood Kristensen and Harrison in the middle or are going 5 at the back?
Bamford has taken 2 pens and missed both! Why wasn’t Rodrigo given the ball? 2-0 and on top would have given us a great chance but being Leeds we miss the penalty and they go down the other end inside a minute and we give them a penalty and now they are on top. Well done Paddy
