Another slam dunk from Affleck and Damon 8.9/10

Very entertaining film about Nike and the Air Jordan story.

The whole cast just gel brilliantly including Jason Bateman, but also Chris Tucker who is very good, and Viola Davis being, well, Viola Davis.

 

They've redone Godfather 3 to sort it out a little, reviews say it's a little better. Might rewatch the lot actually.

They're spot on with a lot of that in the first section. No Duval was a big loss.

No way they can gloss over her performance though. She was terrible.

Halfway through The Covenant. Very good so far.

 

Just finished Yellowstone until they release the 2nd part of the final season in November so it's onto 1923 for me.

Solid watch, not up there with the best of war movies though.

 

Ant-Man 3 - 4.5

Just felt like a rip off of a Star Wars film.

 

It didn't seem to go anywhere, it was a 2hr villain introduction that woulda been better taking 10 mins in the opening of the next film in the franchise.

 

Couple of good films coming soon Asteroid City and Killers of the Flower Moon.

Oppenheimer & the 2nd part of Dune are the ones I'm waiting for this year.
Oh, and The Meg 2, of course.

 

He's been in other stuff already.

 

I enjoyed Dune but it needs that second film.
