I'd love to be there for that but too far away on hols. It would be just great to get some more points, however hopeless things look. I think we've dealt with the now likely outcome but a lift in points return will help, a bit anyway!
We debated about going Sat whilst smashing a tiny little white ball around Boundary Lakes last eve. Decided on going, with the probable bonus that relegation from this dogs end league is confirmed, regardless of the result. We also agreed, the next home match is a definite no go. The thought of standing next to those obnoxious, self important scousers fawning over themselves scraping into the CL or even EL is just unbearable. Added to the “why am I here” after the inevitable 10min wait & then the “lap of failures”! Going to offer our tickets to my 10yr old grandson but he’ll need to find someone to take him.
I am going, figured it will be the last premier league game I see for a while. Am I just going through the motions? Yes Am I 100% behind this team? Not really Am I expecting anything other than a loss? No Will I be booing, giving abuse? No Will I be pissed off hearing Fulham fans singing we are going down? Yes Does that mean I care? Yes In short, I will support my club Saturday, they have let us all down but we are still by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen. COYR
I'm not going to bother watching. The sun's gonna shine so I'll take one of my motorbikes out for a spin. No contest really
I could accept it if we had seen a team fighting week-in week-out. A few red cards, tempers flaring, players committing to tackles. Nothing.
They have really punctured my enthusiasm for the game leaving me quite deflated. They are not a patch on what they used to be.
