Plenty striker options this year though, not just one who we 'target' and then get bent over price wise before failing to do the deal. Levy says no to Kane? Try Osimehn. Same verdict? Then there's Ramos, Vlahovic, Toney, Watkins to have a sniff round, plus Ferguson. *not Watkins tbh.
I think Toney would be a better option for you than Kane as he's going to be 30 soon. Depends on all this betting stuff going on around him though.
He's not that good at all outside of set pieces mate, pretty average in fact. Defo not good enough for where you lot want to be. See him at an upper midtable club at best. Any higher and he'll spend most his time on the bench.
It's a lovely story, when Bobby got back to Paulsgrove, the roughest estate in Portsmouth, he was welcomed like a hero. People decked their windows in red and white etc; Nowadays they'd just kick his head in.
Thankfully even we're not that batshit crazy to sign him on a permanent. Kompany seeing him turn up in the summer... please log in to view this image
Maybe, but Maddison is apparently going for £60m. So West Ham are more than likely just smoking crack.
Not just me then, I've often wondered what all the fuss is about. Not sure if playing with better players would improve him but I've always thought of him as bang average, except his set pieces
Shades of Roy Evans and Houllier. Appreciate it was a bit before you'd even heard of LFC but it didn't end well. Thoughts and prayers for Kloppy.
You really don't know what happened when Evans called in Houllier do you lol. Should be fun with two 'alpha males' there. Always ends well Could be a sly way for Klopp to quit tbf so could be planned that way ofcourse
