Yeah I agree partially. But he came on against an already beaten side so it’s difficult to gauge really. I like what I’ve seen so far mind

 

Strange feeling thinking like that! But we’ve lost 1 game since the Stoke debacle (1 in 12) and that was vs Sheff Utd.

 

I’m just going to assume he is being coy and cirkin and gooch will both make it, 2 games in 3 days is a concern if they’re carrying knocks but I’ve learnt to not doubt them now

Tough one to call but I think we will sneak it. A tight defence and not conceding sloppy freekicks will be the key

 

Yeah - they have scored 13 goals from set pieces, only Sheff Utd. have scored more.

This will be a tight one. My head is saying 2-2 draw, but my heart is saying 2-1 to the lads, so I've gone with my heart.

 

I’ve decided I’m going to just crap myself.

 

If Ballard and Cirkin dont make it then its going to be a very tough day for us stopping them from scoring. We'll just have to fight fire with fire and try and outscore them and win 7-5 or something.
We need to try keep hold of possession as much as possible because without the ball they cant score.

 

I am staying positive for this one and think it will be tight either 1-1 or we may sneak an extra goal l. Think everybody knows that these 6 foot 6 players will throw themselves to the floor at every opportunity as well as trying to get any opportunity to cross or throw the ball into the box, but we are good with the ball at our feet so keep it low and play around them and we may just nick it then we do them 0-4 at their place

I DO notice that the club's twitter feed haven't had their weekly training pictures on.... Might just be looking for a conspiracy that isn't there

 

Gonna be a tough tight nervy game i think, similar to when we played sheffield wednesday last year.

The second leg is usually a bit more open, teams knowing what result they need to go through, and playing that leg away 2nd is going to help us.

i can see a 1-1. Can't see us not conceding due to their physical advantage.

 

Leaving the car at home for this one. Meeting up with a few of the lads for some pre match bevvies. First time this season and let's hope I have another game to get beered up for in a couple of weeks
