You know it’s been a great season when the YEP start a story about bringing Cody Drameh back from Luton and even Joffy from Sunderland to help with keeping Leeds up. Both players are due to play against each other in the Championship play-off semi finals on Saturday
It means that they are convinced we are down and hoping that bielsa part two would be as successful....or maybe Juan likes a big dose of salt
His Twitter profile claims he is a football journalist....... but also says his nicknmame is Juan Kerr and that he loves Juan King.
Gaby Ruiz expected to walk very soon and at least one other coach and maybe even the keeper coach as these guys were all Orta’s men. The clear out starting
Players who are still with us three seasons after we won the Championship. Meslier Ayling Cooper Struijk Cresswell Drameh Forshaw Dallas Shackleton Harrison Summerville Bamford Gelhardt Roberts Not sure we need a DOF as all we need to do is send them out to bat again and we'll be promoted.
I can't see Soton surviving. Everton will probably be ok. We desperately need Forest to not get another point and Leicester to only get at best a couple of draws. We still have to get 3 points from somewhere though. Would be nice to get 3 this weekend
I think I have reached the acceptance stage. It's the only way I can deal with the next 3 games. If by some miracle it works out that will be a huge bonus but if we go down then I have sort of come to terms with it.
I agree. Really we need to win all three to stay up but I honestly don’t think we’ll pick up another point. I was no fan of Jesse and although he got stick at the time, he was right when he said these players are frightened (= gutless). Nearly every team down there has pulled out a surprise result lately but not us.
Maybe our turn will come to provide a shock result but then again pigs might fly. please log in to view this image
We are just repeating his history with Middlesbrough. Helped in getting them promoted then wasted big money on players not suited for premier league football and they ended up being relegated. Reports suggest he was a popular figure at the club and why wouldn’t he be with the contracts handed out some mediocre players
My focus is on who's still here (Orta's gone) and there's definitely enough in the squad for next season should we be relegated (we will). Of course 3 or 4 will leave but the rest will have to suck it up (lower wages) and get on with the task of winning football matches. Or are we Stoke ?
