Great win, but that winning last minute goal of Piroe's will ensure his sale at the end of this season, the club boardroom will be salvinating on the increase premium he will bring, just hope RM can enforce some realism to this boardroom who lack ambition.......
Relegation form for 23 matches, promotion form for the last 9. This season was like a curate’s egg …. Good in parts
Just getting back in: last home match for my mate as he’s emigrating to Oz. In some respects, their first goal summed up much of the season - effing about at the back and getting punished. Great equaliser by Cundle - our MoM in our view, just beating Ntcham for that honour; good goal by the Baggies and then a decent strike by Ntcham to level things at 2-2. Just as Piroe was shaping up to take the free kick we speculated that this could be literally his last kick in a Swansea jersey, so wouldn’t it be great to score the winner: Hey presto, 3-2 to the Swans I wonder how many of that starting XI will still be with us next season. Piroe will he sold, a proven scorer at this level should guarantee interest from the likes of Leicester or Leeds if either or both come down. Cundle will be back at Wolves, Manning will leave. Nice cameo at the end by Kyle Naughton - been an excellent servant
We have a new Yanky chairman in the boardroom by the name of Morris has come from DC United, is this the level of expertise now? Seriously the Yanks are mushrooming in the boardroom....
Sunderland fan in peace here. The leauge table has been a strange one this season. 2 wins and you're top two, two defeats and you're looking over your shoulder at the trap door. The way the season started, teams like Watford and Norwich were looking like they would be in either automatics or play offs. Boro and Coventry near the bottom looked nowhere near the play offs. Burnley lashed us 5-2 up here and I said at the time that they were a Premier leauge team in the Championship. It's been an odd season full of entertainment. Good luck next season. ps, thanks for sticking one on West Brom on Monday, our goal difference is much better than their's, but it's nice to make sure.
Evening JW - good luck in the Play-Offs It’s a great photograph - some pretty decent players there. How fitting it would be if you were to win the Play-Off Final at Wembley this season, the 50th anniversary.
Good evening sir. Yes indeed, it would be fitting but we're not counting our chickens yet about the play offs. One thing we have on our side are some very very good young players that are playing with no fear. So we wait and see, but thank you for your well wishes. And yes, the legends of 73, a match still talked about today.
