Think the offside is fine as it is atm just needs to be quicker - it can not take over a min to figure out when the balls released and if someone is beyond the last player using a computer graphic. Agree with the rest though, clear and obvious is so vague, like if your an Arsenal fan at the weekend it hits the lads leg first ergo no penalty but if you a toon fan it needed 27 replays before they sent the ref to the screen to watch 6 or 7 more replays. Still maintain it should have been a pen although the rules say it shouldn't have been.
Each to their own, but to me and my mince pies it was clearly not a pen, at the first or at the very most, second viewing of the replay on TV (live). For me, this was a good use of VAR, but it took far far far to long to come to the decision. Clear and obvious - there's nothing clear and obvious about the definition even. It's wide open to fiddling.
To interfere, or not interfere - that is the question (answered by unaccountable blokes, in a room, miles away).
Agree by the letter of the law it isn't but my view is, if it hits your hand it should be handball end of discussion. None of this messing about with "who hit what where first" for the defenders and then - and this bit is especially mental to me - having a separate set of rules for the striker where if it hits your arm regardless, tough luck. Handball should mean handball for me, accidentally or deliberate, from 0.2 or 20 yards, attacker or defender. Only way it shouldn't be is if you are shielding your baby makers - I said face as well earlier but tbh even then I'm not having it, take one to the face or duck out the way like a bitch...
The simple solution would be to cut players arms off up to the shoulder. Then we wouldn’t have all these issues.
lunchtime kick offs are not good for us..... I may put a large (and I mean Obi large) insurance bet on.
Don't really know what to expect from Leeds. Think there's a big myth surrounding Fat Sam tbh. Ge goes to clubs which have an OK squad and he does, you know, OK. If he goes to a place with a poor squad, he does a tiny bit better than the previous caretaker or whatever but is usually sacked. Then he went to a really **** squad and got relegated. His win rate at Sunderland was about on par with Steve Bruce's at Newcastle
People who do this are ****ing off their heads. Go out and have a nice meal or something. Pissing money up the wall
You honestly think I will put £100 on. I wouldn’t put £10 on. But I am going to do a Leeds and Everton double because Man City will rest their 1st eleven. 9-1 Everton are. And Leeds are 5/2.
