Also think that slow mo should not be allowed. If you can't tell at full speed then it's not clear and obvious...
It was the correct decision according to the rules but the fact remains its a ****ing ridiculous rule. The ball BRUSHED his thigh, still travelling goalward until it hits his arm - which he moved TOWARDS the ball - and then it actually goes back the other way. It's a tough one and hard to have a concise and easy to use rule for it but honestly feel it should just be if it hits the arm in the box it's a penalty no ****ing about. Accidental? Well stop accidentally being ****e, no hands allowed in football, if it hits your arm outside of your body (allowed to cover your face and dangly bits) it should be a pen.
I agree with this one. If it hits the hand or arm. It’s a penalty. Whether it’s accidental or not. It might be harsh but the reality you can’t score a goal with your hand. Whether it be accidental or not. So why shouldn’t it be a penalty. Get your arm out of the way of it.
We'll be ok. First clean sheet for a while and we'll batter them. Players will be as fired up as **** after Sunday. Spit Roast for Fat Sam the . 4-0
Referee: Simon Hooper. (reffed the game v Leeds at St. James' -- fat twat, " not my problem" ) Assistants: Adrian Holmes, Mark Scholes. Fourth official: Graham Scott. VAR: Neil Swarbrick. --another ref who retired early because he could no longer influence the game on the pitch, got a Job as head of VAR Assistant VAR: Simon Bennett. Swarbricks speech when taking the job https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50380177 note the 'we don't want to start re refereeing the game' fast forward a couple of seasons and they are STILL re refereeing the game
VAR is a joke, still decided by the human mind, which will always include bias. Someone on VAR’s sisters husbands brother probably supports liverpool. Just cause they don’t specifically support a team doesn’t mean they don’t have any ties to them. Joke.
If we miss out on top 4 i'm going to be thinking about liverpool away and crystal palace at home for the rest of my life. Don't let it happen lads please.
That Carvalho goal in the 96th minute was an absolute killer. Liverpool are like a fly round ****, just won’t go & keep coming back.
Three things on VAR: 1. until they have cameras directly above the pitch the offside decision making needs to be changed to be clearer lines, feet only and decided within 20-30 seconds. 2. They should be allowed a maximum of 3 replays at no less than half speed, as well as clarity on what the **** “clear and obvious” ACTUALLY MEANS. 3. The discussion needs to be broadcast on the tv, radio and within the stadium, like they do in US football and rugby (quite why they don’t is dodgy enough)
It's going to be automatic and almost instant. It was used in the World Cup. The only time a ref will get involved is to decide if a player is interfering with play. This is a subjective decision.
