    I don’t expect many but how many regret getting rid of Puel? Ok his style of football wasn’t fantastic but at least we enjoyed some success.

    Absolutely he's to blame. It's because of him that so many of our senior players wanted out. Yet he was happy for the likes of Elyounoussi and Djenepo to stay on. He had sh*t man-management skills and was arrogant. Also because of him that Kelvin Davis was booted off the coaching staff.

    Yeah, but in a 50-50 ball if you make contact with the player and miss the ball then it has to be a foul. Unlucky really.

    I was annoyed at the way he was treated. As for style I think he played the way that suited those players. And……if we hadn’t been cheated at Wembley may have won us some silverware.

    I hated him at the time. He was a horrible change in style and I couldn’t stand watching us. But in hindsight he did really well. He was unlucky to have followed some of our best football.

    Football is about two things: results and entertainment. He offered one but not the other. Since he left, we have largely had neither…

    To be fair, the season under Puel looked better than it was. We ended up with 46 pts (or something like that - can't be bothered to check) and finished 8th. So many teams failed miserably that year, so we literally fell above some of them. In a normal season 46 pts would probably finish us around 12th-12th.

    I'm taking nothing away from the cup run though. Hats of to Claude for a great day out at Wembley!

    I agree that he probably is out best forward. But he's still useless.
