The aim for the season was to avoid relegation so have done a lot better than expected. What a season this has been. Some of the best football from a Sunderland team in all the time I have been a supporter of 50 years
Unreal. And feels so deserved, given how unlucky we have been with injuries, dodgy decisions going against us, last minute equalisers, etc. Absolutely buzzing for the lads
Can we all just appreciate Mowbray by the way. Not just that we’ve done it we have done it with swagger. Loved and felt Amad kissing that badge as well. He meant that.
Amad, man. He's a ****ing genius. One of the most naturally talented players i've seen since Martin Smith. If he's not in the Man United squad next year they need their heads testing.
What a team, the football that we play is unreal but its the fight that they show every single game that i love. We were unreal in that 2nd half, just controlled the whole 2nd half. Motm for me is ekwah, he was unreal and looks an unreal prospect!! Neil was unreal as well, he just broke up play so well. Pritchard is def best coming on as a sub when the game opens up, he was class when he came on!! Def need ballard back for at least 1 of these games against luton but we can play them off the park when we get our passing going
There’s a fair few premier league clubs that wouldn’t live with us on our performances this season. We are that good.
