I don't think I've ever seen Brighton this open at the back under De Zerbi. Horrendously open. Gross playing as part of a back four isn't helping. He isn't a RB.
Of all of the various different combinations for which two teams would be joining in the Championship, at no point this season did I have Leeds-Leicester down as the likely one.
This is madness that De Zerbi hasn't changed it. How can he continue with Gross at RB? It's all well and good praising him with things are going well. But this is interesting to learn how he copes with difficulty.
It will be interesting to see if he was living off of Potter’s team. I have a feeling a lot of Brighton’s success this season stems from Potter tbh, and De Zerbi just carried it on and rode the crest of a wave.
Every Brighton fan I know (of which there are many, having lived there for 20 years) would completely disagree with you on that. I can see why you might think that, but no, they are not onside with that one at all. They all LOVE RDZ and think he's twice the manager.
