So the word Hun now means Rangers fans & the orange order?

Tell me when Celtic fans called Walter Smith a sad orange bastard did they do this because
    A. He was in the orange order
    B. Because he was a Protestant

No, it has meant what it has always meant.

Walter Smith was called as sad orange bastard because he was manager of Rangers football club. As I am sure you are aware, there is a long history between these two sectarian organisations. They are comfortable bedfellows.

Now shall we get this train back on track?

I think that Rebel has gotten confused between Rangers and the Orange Order.

So you have deciphered that Jacky made a link between Rangers and the orange order?

He says he uses that word for other meanings too. You wanna help him dig himself out of that one too?

He was being bigot, it's clear to see and it's no surprise you are on here trying to defend him.

I'd be interested to hear webel justify his calling Rangers a "sectarian organisation".

He's a total clown, this is the same fella who spoke about the Ardoyne riots saying, the police should have stood back and let it fizzle out rather than use water canons.

Then instead of blaming the rioters for the hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of destruction he blamed the old Orangemen who walked silently past, not through, past the edge of Ardoyne.

I wonder if he blames the police for the north London riots? Who am I kidding of course he will.

So Medro why shouldnt the OO take financial responsibility for damage their marches cause and the policing cost they incur llike any other organisation would? Would be interesting to see how keen they would be to march down Ardoyne when they have to pay for it.

    Nice side step.

Listen, you can be bigot all you want, I couldn't give a **** but don't post ****e like that and come on and accuse others of bigotry.

But to answer your question. Do gay people pay for gay pride policing? Who pays for St.Patricks day policing? Don't think for 1 second that thugs rioting will force the hand of the police to invoice the OO. The policing is there for their protection, that is their job. You can't take the stance of Rebel and blame the OO for people wrecking their own area.

Like all the years they did it before OO needed to be guarded by riot police.

Look what you have started after my off the cuff remark about terrorists in NI. In case you haven't realised I said terrorists not republican terrorists. Let me untwist your knickers, I don't agree with the death penalty but what I'm sayin is it would make dickheads think twice about signing up for the UDA, UVF & IRA. If you disagree with that point, then you're a bigger **** than I thought.

Is there a St. Patrick's day organisation, no the council organises the events. Do gay pride organise hundreds of marches, alot contentional, across country in one day. No they have one parade in the centre that is a boost to tourism and the local economy. The OO parades cause an exodus from the country and are harmful to businesses that are dmaaged or have to close.

Again, if the OO were to take financial responsibility for their marches, like any other organisation of that scale, they would soon think twice about contentional marches that would cost them money, but they dont care when the taxpayer foots the bill.

I know your bigotry has you set to blaming the people who are within their rights to feel aggreived at an aggressive triumphalist passing their homes, but the OO picking up the £6m bill instead of the taxpayer is jsut logical. Just a pity out assembly rarely works on logic

Also why did you use the gay pride parade as an example? I know your bigotry has you hating St Paddys despite tricolours being banned from it but why gay pride? are you homophobic medro as well?

It is really simple. The people who organise events should pay for policing of said events.

Councils organise St Patrick's Day parades - They foot the bill
Comhaltas organise Fleadhs - They pay the costs
The OO organise their parades - the tax payer foots the bill

My only question to Medro is, is this fair?

Not that I'm an OO fan or anything (seriously don't ****ing spout ****e about this its a unbiased opinion) but if any of them you mentioned sam deserved to be paid for it would be the OO since its a unionist thing which to me is understandable because its celebrates unionist values, as opposed to another countries biggest day and some other festival I've never heard of, unless your talking about them taking place in ROI otherwise i don't give a flying **** <ok>
