Yes. I am equally, if not more critical, of the pope and the catholic religion.

As a Catholic Atheist I am very very critical of the Catholic Church. To be fair all churches are as bad.

I am a non practising Christian,,i.e. I don't go to church except for hatches, matches and despatches. I do sometimes worship at St. Marys, that has been a bit difficult recently.

It's a great shame that the Royals have no way to respond to this kind of nonsense, I would expect to hear a few choice expletives.

1: yes, I know. So any prior unconstitutional monarchs are surely irrelevant as the rules were different.

2: so what? The person running the country ought to be fairly ****ing pivotal. I still don't see how it is in way a good thing to have a monarch.

3:The point wasn't about whether Protestantism is a good/bad thing and certainly not about what is in your opinion, a worse option, it was solely about how archaic it is to have religion tied to state in any way. Charlie's not done a great job chasing out Catholics as I'm pretty sure we let them practice their faith here and membership of C of E has dropped off a cliff so I don't really know what he's defending these days - hence why it is bizarre it's part of a modern ceremony.
As far as the Pope is concerned, only Catholics care, only Catholic hierarchy have a say in who's next for the job, and it is completely irrelevant to any debate about the UK monarchy and state.
Personally, I'd burn every religious organisation to the ground if I had my way as the idea of organised religion is utterly repellent to me - and I don't discriminate, I dislike them all pretty equally.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did have a sense of humour, but we will never know, protocol prevents them from defending themselves.

As I clearly said, the only change I want to see is no religious connection to state, and eventually no religion at all once we evolve enough to become a rational race

A noble dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true? A standard human being has to have something to believe in, what they call it is subject to choice, it won't go away.

I believe in miracles. Both my football club and my country appear in dire need of a few right now.

Definitely, complete slander against Andy. We all know it wasn’t his hand.

We? Sorry I am not aware of the slander you are on about but putting in to print converts it to libel.

I’ll assume you genuinely don’t know: there was a photo doing the rounds a couple of years ago, prince Andrew with his arm around a 17 year old girl. Allegedly it was at his chum Epstein’s house.

But it was definitely photoshopped because he said he had never met her.

Not my area of expertise or interest to be truthful. I deplore wrongdoing but if it isn't proven you need to be a bit careful about what you say or post about it.

Indeed I am very worried. If anyone caught wind of a tinpot conspiracy theory like that I could be in trouble.

I doubt a member of the royal family would ever face charges for something like that, they would probably settle out of court. Not that anything like that would ever happen, as I say the photo was clearly a fabrication.
