All those years ago when I saw Meghan Markle on TV, I never even knew that she was black. Clearly I need to go and book in for some woke diversity counselling. It's interesting to see people rage about defending the rights of all minority groups, and usually mentioning ones that make up 5 or maybe 10% plus of the population, but then the same people demand that the top 1% of earners are oppressed. What about their minority rights?
They are very, very selective about which specific bits of slavery, and which timescales they are relating to though. It's quite likely their ancestors were never slaves anyway, but if they were, there's a fair chance that had they not been slaves, they would have died in their homelands and their whiny off-spring wouldn't have ever existed. On the lighter skin bit, there used to be products sold to lighten dark skins, not for white racist reasons, because their own culture decreed that a darker skin was a sign of a field worker, and deemed them as a lesser person.
