    19 fouls committed today….

Said for a long while. Brentford are batting way above where they should be and credit to them.

But they are just a massive long ball to Toney team and then try win set pieces and score from there.

If they were managed by fat Sam instead of a foreign guy, everyone would be calling them a long ball team.

Horrible to play against and nothing wrong with playing that way. But is funny how some managers get labelled as long ball and some don’t.

    1 behind united
    3 behind newcastle

both have 2 games in hand.

Arsenal and West Ham wins tomorrow make things slightly more interesting though

I was never worried after I found out Toney had a bet on us to win 1-0

Well, we're getting results but it's far from pretty. There's been a pattern over several games now of starting brightly but just fading badly.
A goal up with 10 minutes to go takes me back to the nail-biting era before Klopp.

I don’t like anyone playing like it really. Makes it a horrible game of football to watch. Like I said, not expecting everyone to come and play tippy tappy football and get destroyed. well within their rights to do it and if it gets results then good for them. That’s prob best way of beating many sides so can’t moan at them for doing it.

But just makes it a horrible game to watch.

Think him and Taylor has an agreement for over 20 fouls in the game to make a nice tidy sum

We were a bit like this end of last season. We ground out results while going for the title. Think many said at the time, we weren’t playing very well but just had a knack of getting over the line and at the business end of the season you can accept that

I have no beef with it at all - I am on here saying as much - good luck to them

Just don’t get the pundits and people bigging up Brentford when if it Burnley it was loathed

not aimed at anyone in particular just a generalised observation

I also don’t remember Burnley flopping like Brentford
Size of those players they should be ashamed <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Sometimes you have to grind out results, but because we're so vulnerable at the back I don't have faith we can hold out, and that just makes it a very nervous watch at the end.

You need to go back and watch Ashley Barnes for Burnley under dyche. Guy spent more time on the floor than on his feet.

But agreed. We do always give the exotic foreign managers more benefit than the English ones.

Agreed. Saying that, Ali did nothing today, despite all the corners free kicks long throws.

Would also like to ask why Ali got booked for time wasting. Yet he took less time than every Brentford throw which took a good 30-60 seconds for every single throw.

Time washing isn’t just a thing when you’re winning in the second half.

Brentford are a nice London team, not like those ignorant clog-sparking Northerners Burnley.
    Obviously.

Thought Brentford reminded me most of Wimbledon just long balls and trying to win free kicks .

oh and yet another rubbish performance by a Pl ref .
