Rough idea of the rebuilding I believe is required if we stay up and I’m not even convinced about sicknote sinisterra. That’s some overhaul and equally important who’ll be doing the rebuild. Might keep Harrison

Know what you're saying about Sinisterra but we have Summerville as cover

If we stay in the prem it’s not just players it’s a new DoF and what direction he takes the club. Orta lost everything he and Bielsa put in place so that model/project is dead because we bought the wrong players for Marsch and his style. We then need to offload dead wood like Roberts, Poveda, Shackelton and James. We need to decide on Greenwood, Gelhardt, Cresswell, Hjelde and Bate plus offload Ayling, Cooper, Forshaw and Maybe Dallas and then we get into the nitty gritty of who else is good enough for the new regime

If we go down though we'll have a cracking squad.

It's Friday and probably going down the pub later so not going to let Eire drag the mood down <cheers>

If we remain in the PL our biggest problem is moving on those with no value to us on the pitch, but money invested being vast, take Dan James, where does he go from here.

Front Line: Time to sell Bamford and Tyler Roberts and make a decision on Joffy. Sinisterra worries me with injuries. Viktor Gyökeres Is available for around £20m a far better gamble than Rutter. If we pick up a new striker with Harrison, Summerville, Sinisterra, Gnonto and Rodrigo we have cover. Rutter has to go on a season long loan

Midfield worries me, Adams is great, I’d keep Roca and Aaronson probably needs a season out on loan but can we afford that or do we give up on him. We need a creative player somewhere in there

Defence I think one new CB and LB I’d put Drameh in with Kristensen as cover, move on Cooper and Possibly Struijk, bring in Cresswell and keep Wober and Koch. I’m hoping Llorente doesn’t come back

I’d not give up on the entire team, I often said with Bielsa in the Championship, they were all small cogs making the big wheel turn. We just haven’t had a coach able to get the mix right.

This would be my biggest concern next season, who do we get as Coach. Big Sam is a no from me but imagine he miracles a point against City and gets three against West Ham and two draws with Newcastle and Spurs. Imagine we stay up and he’s unbeaten with a win and three draws, who would deny him the job?

I know that all sounds pie in the sky but the op is IF we stay in the PL and surely it’s going to take at least 5 points

I don't think you would get many or even any takers for Bamford. He has too long been injured and at the 7 million he cost just keep him.

If we go down why not give Sam the job?. About time we had a no nonsense British manager.

Yes and let him do the hiring and firing. At least we’d be guaranteed a squad capable of competing instead of these five stone weaklings that are permanently crocked

Agree. If you go down give him the job - if he keeps you up, give him a blowjob.

Five years ago radz was bullshiiting about getting us into Europe in five years and ground redevelopment would be under way. All bullshit. Here we are today discussing getting rid of almost entire squad in summer as they’re useless, nothing done with ground except hang up a few banners and put the prices up. Hoping we don’t concede double figures against city

Not strictly true Eire, I believe they have put some new hand dryers in some of the toilets, so ground redevelopment has been completed ;)

He has put money in though mate, his huge cock up was allowing Orta to spend it for far too long.

Our three most expensive signings, James, Rodrigo, Rutter and despite how poor we are the three of those signings are considered worse than what we have.

Isn’t Rodrigo our top scorer this season?

Played well when leading the line. Bielsa played him wide or at ten and wasted his talent.

Yes but he hasn’t been starting under the previous two coaches, I’d start him personally but my point is we have nearly £100m worth of signings not being considered for a first name down on the sheet

Well as the previous two coaches were complete gobshites that’s not much of a yardstick to judge rodrigo by. He’s so much better than Bamford it’s ridiculous
