I went for 6....... Which means I'm guessing it's either CC or Welshie that went with 0. Out the 2 of them I'm guessing Welshie was the more optimistic
6 points. We're purring right now, and I think we can overrun Arsenal at SJP, they look knackered and their season's going to ****. Leeds just ain't that good, they really don't look like a Prem league team, Bournemouth and Leicester have some fight in them but I don't see it from Leeds. Even with the hippo-headed fat bastard instructing them to hump long balls up to the big men, I think we'll win.
There's no option for 5 points, ie beat Arsenal, draw with Leeds, but get an extra point awarded a few days later, when it transpires that Fat Sam gave envelops full of cash to the ref and VAR adjudicator.
Thought it supposed to be a secret ballot? Does this mean I get taken outside and shot if I'm wrong or disagree with da boss?
I'm not arsed about these next two fixtures. If we can get at least 6 points from our last 5 games that should be enough to see us finish top 4. I think that is more than achievable. We have a near fully fit squad to pick from and can cause any team a good amount of trouble. We could win all of our remaining games, we could lose them all...i'll be happy either way in reality. We're going into Sundays game playing a team who have been top of the league for most of the season and we're trying to cement a place in the top 4, i don't think anyone thought we'd be saying that at the beginning of the season.
Care’s a strong word…of course I would care, I never want to see is lose. In the grand scheme of things in terms of the season we have had I’ll be ecstatic wherever we finish. If we lose all of our remaining games and the teams below us win all of theirs, the lowest we can finish is 9th. I’d be ****ing gutted after the season we’ve had if we finish there…it’s highly unlikely that either of those things will happen tho in reality especially as some of those teams will have to play one another. I’d love 6 points in our next two games but I’ll be happy with 4 if I’m honest. If LiVARpool finish outside of the CL spots I’ll be even happier…****s they are, and their ****ehawk of a manager!
The next 2 games will determine whether Newcastle stay in a good position or whether the advantage becomes very narrow.
