I think McClaren is the best realistic option to manage City at the moment. Has all the best attributes, experience, club/player links & history with city we could get at the moment.

Barmby as No.2 would be ideal for squad continuity & experience in this division.

And the key for me..... If we get McClaren, he will only come with assurances with some investment for the squad, exactly what we need to push on in this division!

If he wanted people understand him he'd just shout loudly and slowly. Don't buy that.

Or he's just having a laugh, which is exactly what I would do if I was in his position.

You could say Brownie attracts ridicule too and has been a failure for the last few years but some of our fans would have him back (not me) Mclaren is a top coach as well as a manager and we couldn't get anybody better to bring on our crop of young players except maybe Joyce, I hope one of these two gets the job

I don't know if you are the same idiot that was posting on here a few months ago, but please do one and go back to your own club board unless you have some valid points to make, you know nothing of Mclarens relationship with Hull, now kindly **** off

You are absolutlely right Madhog, that is what happens to most people speaking their own language when trying to make sure a foreign speaker understands. It's the cadence and flow which if similar to their tongue helps the understanding of the foreign listener. Communication was a major part of his task in Netherlands and Germany.

Pity the piss takers don't understand, but there you go.

Think he would be ok for City, very few managers go to every club and perform to the highest level. Don't know of many who did every time.

I wouldn't be surprised if we have agreed a deal with someone, it seems that settlement talks with Leicester have resumed(according to Blunderside)..

    HumbersideSport BBC Humberside Sport
@HumbersideSport understands compensation talks re-open between #HCAFC & #LCFC, attitudes may have 'softened'. Possible deal early next week

    OLM is correct.

I can officially reveal I have accepted the job. I start on Monday. The commute is a bit of a b***er.

    Are you sure you're qualified?

    How long is your stubble?

And more importantly, how long is your wool coat?

What about the continental scarf wearing, I feel it's a perfect fit for a long wool coat.

If McClaren has been offered the job, the coaching staff don't know about it yet, they seem to think that Barmby's the front runner.

humble pie isn't real pie. it's more like a danish flaky pastry and as such you would eat it with your fingers. if you used a fork it would just fall to pieces.
