Pedro to Brighton ?

Thought he might want to aim higher but Brighton are a team on the up.

 

Sad, but of all the players, the one most deserving of improving his situation. Has given his best every game. I think Brighton might suit him very well, as he will bring a degree of unpredictability - and still keep the ball.

 

Remains to be seen really - FR isn't always a reliable source.

And some of the comments in that thread are a joke - from paying £15m for him to selling him next year for £125m.

 

True but if accurate apparently it’s around 30 million .

We paid 2 million for him I think.

SSN pundits discussing Pedro to Brighton. The way they talk about him, anyone would think they have actually watched him play...

Possibly. It's Asprilla we need to keep hold of abd bring through. I think he's better than JP10, or is at least further along his development than he was at the same age.

 

I agree, I think you could build a team around asprilla, he has the ability to unlock a defence with his vision and passing ability.
I love JP, but to me we play a certain way when he is in the side and everyone tries to complement him….with Asprilla his game is and can be built around complementing other players’ skill sets

 

That is what I thought at the start of the season he has the potential to be something special

As an a side Sarr seemed to be more involved yesterday maybe with Pedro moving on we will get more from Sarr and Asprilla

 

I suspect we will try to move Sarr on because he has only one year left on his contract so will want to get some money for him.

I am sure Asprilla will be an even more key player next season - hopefully can get some goals added to his general play.

 

I think Sarr refused a new contract as part of a plan to move on?

 

All I can say to that is "Good."

I can't really decide which is the most disappointing record signing - him, Andre Gray or Nathan Ellington.

They each promised so much but delivered so little.

 

i would not put him in that league.. he has managed ten goals this season I think.. . and the EFL goal of the season....
I think he will flourish in a better team.....

 

Gray and Ellington both flourished in better teams - it's why we bought them.

 

Just not worth what we brought them for .

 

Some rumours elsewhere that Kayembe might be going to Udinese for 12 million!

That certainly will get some attention from other fans and the FA if true .

Reckon they mean Kone.
