The thing with O2 is it's just simple. One letter, one number. Easy. can't stand the red and blue of SD on the shirt at all. O2 would look a lot classier too. Imagine it in gold. Or the blue.

Really hope it's O2, so so much <laugh>

    That's the desired effect <laugh>
Not sure to be honest. We'll have to see I suppose!

A sponsorless shirt would look class, I'd buy one <whistle>

    According to what?

Think I preferred you when you were depressed about everything, rather than cocky about everything

As far as I understand it; it'll be Northern Rock until the end of the season. As their original 4 year deal had a get out clause after 2 years. 2 years will be up at the end of the season. The reason we need a new sponsor now is because Puma are manufacturing next year's shirts.

    At least I think.

Can't see how Rock had any other option tbh.

They are owned by the tax payer so are effectively a nationalised business.

Maybe they have been told to withdraw as their responsibilities have now changed.

I'd like o2 if only because replacing all the Sports Direct stuff with o2 would mean far less space taken up by the adverts, happy days!

Didn't they ban alcoholic drinks as shirt sponsors in England a few years ago?

I'm assuming that Puma will want the design of the sponser to incorporate it into the kit design for next season's shirt(s).
