I did, but you chose to ignore it. Still, whatever, I'm not going waste any more time on the least relevant and important thing I can think of.

I was being sarcastic. If I got under your skin you shouldn't have had a go at me in the first place. If you can't take it, don't dish it out in the first place. All I did was change the prefix to avoid any confusion with the actual match day thread, which you saw fit to attack me on, which was totally unnecessary.

Well worded response to the questions on The Red Hand Files, more to see there I'm sure.
Thanks for the memory jog, I'll be reading the book on an upcoming holiday.

Probably not. I expect they'd focus their creativity on a scarecrow festival, which would be just as entertaining

My post was tongue in cheek SC, even I find this sort of thing a bit bizarre.

As for your comment about scarecrows, I think I'm detecting a little sarcasm there but some of the best entertainment can be found at scarecrow festivals, you should try it. Alongside Smash the Rat (although I think that might have a dubious double meaning, ref Urban Dictionary), Pig Wrestling and Tear the Fox to Bits, the countryside provides all sorts of fun for the whole family. It's not entirely understood by city dwellers.

Love a good scarecrow festival. Gives me a great opportunity to walk around a village and nick useful cuttings from interesting plants on my way round

Reports suggest the Prince of Wales' three children, princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte, will be in a carriage with their parents behind the Gold State Coach.

And more than 4,000 members of the armed forces from the UK and across the Commonwealth, 19 bands and flag-bearers will join them.

Among those taking part will be members of the Blues and Royals and Life Guards of the Household Cavalry, the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and the Irish Guards with their mascot Seamus, the Irish wolfhound.

The Ministry of Defence says Saturday's event will be the largest military procession in London since more than 16,000 people took part in Queen Elizabeth II's coronation procession in 1953.

Some soldiers involved have returned to represent their regiments from operational duties or training exercises abroad, in places like Cyprus, Iraq, Kenya and Estonia.

There are over 180 houses in my road, in 1953 every single one was festooned with bunting and Coronation paraphenalia, 2023 you wouldn't know that there was a Coronation happening. I know there is diversity in the population, there are not many native British people left in the area, Many occupants have no allegiance to an obsolete institution that the Monarchy has become, which is disappointing, but no longer surprising. I see mention of calls for a Republic to take over? History would go against that, Republics have a habit of getting in to divisions which end up in Civil unrest and even wars, not what the British want or need. Love or hate the Monarchy, it is probably the reason we haven't gone down the road to Trumpington rule.

Not a good week-end, the headlines the Royals have been relegated being broadcast. Pity that's another local "derby" gone west.

Excitement mounts with only one day to go before the big match from the Westminster Abbey Stadium. The squads have been announced and Ted Baker has provided the matchday suits. My advice is to take it all in and enjoy the moment, you never know if you'll get this opportunity again.

I expect everyone will have bought theirs already but £4.90 is incredibly good value. Mrs Game and I are already wearing ours.

Not quite the Nazca Lines or our friend in Wilmington but that's an impressive giant grass cock. I deducted a few points for lack of jizz but was impressed by the symmetry

Maybe it was done by aliens like crop circles that suddenly appear after closing time.
