Wow. Just watched Sam’s presser and yes a bit and numbly but he still likes sticking the blade in. confident start and when he basically fooked Pep and Arteta and Klopp off I spat my wine out. He has made me feel a bit better and I reckon there is going to be a few changes on Saturday, although he wants Bamford firing which he won’t. He says he wants 6 points from 4 games
A lot of time for Karl Robinson a coach who deserved a bigger job and treated very badly at Oxford after the job he did. He also put MK Dons on the map and got rid of the old Wimbeldon tropes. Robbie Kean, mouthy and opinionated but as a striker he has a reset CV and although when we bought him he wasn’t great, his first go with us the season before on loan he had a goal every other game. Scored goals everywhere he went really even Milan and he ripped a new arse to scoring records in the MLS. Could he help Bamford how will Rodrigo feel about him will Georginio show him some real skills? Let us see
Gnonto was not what Victor wanted though, De Ketalier was and the list does go on and on through Kristensen, Firpo, James, Mckennie, Roca etc etc etc Orta was nowhere near reasonable a fact we should have picked up on from his similar achievements at Boro
Huge decisions in the summer for whoever the owner is. Do they stick with the DOF business model and if so, how do they go about recruiting him. Money is going to be tight for a long time so someone with a history of finding gems in obscure leagues. At least if in Championship, there wont be same pressure to find top top talent and like Burnley, well likely be making extensive use of the loan system
I’ll be on a flight to the US on a business trip, so when I land my phone will just tell me the result… can’t see us getting owt from city, but who knows? I’m backing Big Sam all the way, as what other choice do we have? Come on Leeds!
As the bankers say: Keep in mind that past performance is not a reliable guide to future performance.
So Big Sam is saying some people said he must be mad taking the leeds job, what a load of bollox, he'd have been mad to turn down half a million quid for three weeks work with a 2.5million bonus if a miracle happens
Agreed. It’s a shot to nothing. No one will blame him if we’re relegated. Even if he gets us close and makes a fight of it means he’ll probably get another prem job next season
No way they are going to be able to hang on for another 45 minutes. They are chasing shadows. City will eventually get a ball through to Haaland
