Well I am looking at villa and expecting that little run to be the thing we need to beat out.

Its villa under emry, Brighton and us for 5th and 6th and 7th.

I do not want to be 7th.

Spurs fans are already expecting 8th.

Villa have a game tonight v fulham at home and will be on 33 games after that. We have then 2 games in hand v west ham and whoever and are in a dog fight with ASTON VILLA!!!

    amazing.

Villa play Fulham, Man utd, wolves, Spurs, US (a) and finally Brighton (a)

I'd have hoped the wheels would come of that particular wagon but we will see now.

Brighton play forest, wolves, utd, everton, arsenal, Newcastle, Southampton, City and finish with villa. they have a lot of games to catch up on.

I'm going to put 5th place on 63 points.

We have 50 so need 5 wins out of 7 to get there. We have West ham, spurs, fulham brentford Leicester villa and Southampton. Theres 3 home games in a row in there starting with spurs.

I seriously seriously do not want 7th

I dont fancy the conference but an away game to a midtable Romanian team may be quite fun.

    its not worth the hassle.

At least with europa the powers that be have listened over the years. Theres a CL spot up for grabs, nearly double the money and they've rewards teams for finsihing top of group now and that helps greatly with the game load

The conference is for teams like west ham and brighton across europe to develop themselves they should expand it even more and take in the top 10 so even palace can dream (parish would instruct managers to finish 11th)

Whatever you like. This season, this week, today, last 5 minutes - I'm sure somebody will be keeping count.

I was being very selfish and thinking of a trip out for me and the boy rather than the team if I'm honest.

TBH if we did end up there i reckon a lot of people will get a trip or a European match cos there will be no bother getting tickets.

It is one benefit once people are happy watching 70% kids.

I've never once tipped up to watch Liverpool and cared who turned out.

Infact I never really expect to watch the match, its all about the atmosphere.

I reckon an away day to the back end of beyond would be boss.

We all thought it was ridiculous Spurs sacking a interim manager, but Lampard is now P5 L5.

Guy is a ****e manager, can't see him getting another job in this country after this second stint at Chavski

    far far too late.

I would take a cheque to tell them they've no chance. If that means taking training and a bit of abuse of leeds fans fair enough but their fixtures are simply not going to allow anyone come in in the space or a couple of weeks and materially affect those results.

gracia does seem to be on the block for execution. their DoF has walked as well.

this is the equivalent of france surrendering to save paris in 1940 and then going further and acting like a nazi stooge in vichy.

this makes is 15 managers of various types sacked.
