Id only do it if it involved their first round pick in 2024. That way with 2 first rounders gives the Vikings the means to trade up and possibly get one if the top rated QBs if Lance doesn’t work out. But yeah very unlikely it happens. With the way the draft has gone I think the most likely scenario is they extend Cousins for another year or 2 unless they completely tank this year

And that’s the Vikings draft done. Can’t say I’m overly happy with it, basically sounds like they got a good WR2 in the first, who is tiny, then a bunch of guys who will be back ups/not make the team and a solid running back in the 7th round. Didn’t trade Smith or Cook and got zero linebacker help. Cook will be released Id expect after the June 1st deadline This draft was never going to be particularly interesting for the Vikings due to a lack of picks but feels very underwhelming straight off the bat
Mark Selby gets his first Crucible maximum, in the final! The second 147 in this year’s World Championship, the first time 2 have happened in one tournament, 40 years after Cliff Thorburn got the first televised 147. What a time to be alive!
My sports teams (Saints and NHL Calgary Flames) are right in the same sewer right now! The Flames have fired its headcoach, and the GM walked away. @SouthamptonFC equivalent is Rasmus Ankerson(GM) & Ralph/Jones/Selles(Headcoach)
I'm In Calgary in three weeks time so should pick up Calvary soccer game. Assume you have moved on to NZ now?
Yep. We moved here last October. Calvarys home opener was on the weekend. They had a crowd of 4.5k! It's a fantastic venue. Have a great time, Calgary is a great place for stuff to do.
Calgary Flames farm team, the Calgary Heat are also playing right now in the AHL playoffs. You should try and fit a game in there too, if your schedule works.
Our son lives there so we've visited many times and he has taken to several different sporting events including the Cav's, I'll mention it to him. Good luck in NZ.
Vikings could have picked up an absolute steal in undrafted free agency with Andre Carter. He probably would have gone in the draft if his future wasn't up in the air with him being in the military. Now he's being allowed to pursue a career in the NFL before reporting for active duty.
If him and Pace are as good as people were projecting (some had them as 3rd rounders) and end up making the team and contributing then this draft could be deemed a success. Right now I feel like they’ve got a good WR2, a decent running back for when Cook is cut and not much else. The defence was terrible last year so hopefully some of the picks from last years draft can contribute (mainly Cine and Booth) and with Flores the unit can step up a level.
