Jeez I remember that game. He could have got three red cards in that game alone. Bad tempered encounter it was and probably the first time Michael Oliver went public with his previously hidden Pool bias.
Maybe you could enlighten us then!! Across the board I would have thought that just about everyone has been been given a share of the blame
All the talk of where we rank for late winners and late losers this season, but no talk about where we rank on Saltypool Players Who Should've Been Sent Off Scoring Late Winners Against Us
I blame our players for not kicking up a fuss and surrounding the referee and intimidating him tbh We are too soft should be up the refs arse Should push a few opponents too Make the ref do some work for his incompetent observations
I adhere to the rugby ethos that only the team captain +/- his offending team ,members should be in front of the ref. If I was a manager, I would demand the right to financially penalise any of my players who do the contrary. "should be up the refs arse Should push a few opponents too" If you want "performance art" you can have team members go steaming in but be physically restrained by team-mates well before being near the ref or opposition players. It sows the seed in the refs' mind that things may escalate quickly and badly if they do not begin dishing out cards correctly etc.
You think the ref did well yesterday? Did anyone claim it was a PL agenda? The data are entirely consistent with us not having any problems anyway in the sense that not having as much income as some of our competitors fully explains our lack of success. So I wouldn't be looking for anyone to blame.
Can’t wait to hear your excuse when Spurs finish below Brighton and Villa. Won’t have your trusty old income excuse then.
It's all about the money money money Remember when the extra income from the fantastic new stadium was going to propel you forward? (not you but some on here), now it seems it either doesn't exist (ENIC pockets) or that wasn't the problem.
