Couldn't take that me. The quick switch of emotions like that man. Enough to break any man.

Big clubs and their fans will never understand the number of decisions that go their way mind.

Jota's yellow could have been a red on a different day (if it was a different team) and Konate made no attempt to play the ball when he held Richarlison - might have been a decision that the home side would have got.

Very interesting post, mate. I'm now gonna take this on a political tangent, apologies in advance!

I'm left leaning, but various things, that I won't go in to, have lead me to the conclusion that whilst the current economic model is as bent as it could possibly be, only a better version of what we have could genuinely improve things. I dont see it happening.

Referring to a thread I started, A.I could/will change everything, most likely for the worse, if you consider diminishing personal freedom as a bad thing, which I do.

I think people should be able to surpass each other financially, whether by hard work or a genetic freak occurrence, a Ronaldo or a Messi or a Fury or a Musk...if you are the best, you should be able to benefit from that. But I dont think just being born (royal families etc) should render you one of the only people in the world who can buy a premier league team. Fully aware that KLD is in that bracket but just lower down the spectrum btw.

Jim Ratcliffe was raised on a council estate, son of a joiner, so, if i was a man united fan, he'd be my choice of the available options, I reckon.

This is where the conflict comes in, for me, the only way to mitigate against a completely disproportionate system, which allows being born to be a deciding factor, is regulation. For that to be effective you'd need to trust the institutions doing the regulating.

Hence, we're ****ed, generally, and football is particularly ****ed!

All of the above being said, Roberts goal yesterday man, the look on your bairns face, elation can't be bought. Its the ultimate equalizer!

Money can buy a premier league team, it can't buy you happiness or add meaning to your life.

    ...as you were :emoticon-0102-bigsm

That's football. That's why it's the best sport in the world. You need those punches in the gut to appreciate the highs and vice versa

I get no enjoyment out of Premier League football. Its repulsive. And the stupid thing is, i want my club to get there. I sometimes think 'do i really?' Its like for the past decade or two, the one thing Newcastle and Sunderland supporters agreed on was our disrespect we generally had for the big 6. Football, as far as the rest of us were concerned, the powers that be, couldnt give a ****. We hoped for football, as we knew it, would collapse and we could start again. Now Newcastle have joined them? All seems to have been forgiven on their side. Me? Im not sure how id react if we joined them. A bit hypocritical and dirty id expect. Makes me think, at the end of the day 'Whats the point?' I dont really want my club to become one of the utter ****s.

Man Utd may well be taken over by Qatar then we'll have them, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia running the PL.

That's bad but it means two are bound to lose the title every season.

It's hilarious watching the fans of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc, whining about how much Man City spend to win it ...

... the whole thing is an unfixable shambles.

It can only change if the big clubs leave or it all blows up.

Neither looks too likely but fingers crossed.

Blackburn only have one option ...

... Luton don't even have a 'farewell' to play for.

    It'll be interesting.

We've gone into games needing many more snookers than the Preston one ...

... we have a real chance and the players will give it all they've got.

Big match for me tonight as i despise Everton.

I don't care for Leicester but I'll be shaking my clacker tonight <laugh>

We need Rotherham to win this today so Boro go into the last game against Coventry desperate to turn things round and gain momentum going into the playoffs
