    I used to work for Newland Televisions, which was on Chants Ave and confused many people into driving up and down the wrong avenue.

    Yet another thing that we won't have as much influence on as others, or as we should, because the Local Authority politicians can't work together sensibly to get us an elected Mayor to fight our corner.

    Mind you
    Just seen the new East Riding Tory leader is strongly in favour of a devolution deal with a Mayor, so maybe things will move again. Should be one for whole Humber area though IMHO.

    Would this theoretically increase our population numbers to include much of the East Riding? Thus, redistributing more government money into potentially the city areas? If so, I'm all for that.

    They were always going to go as soon as their lease ran out, it's nowhere near prime enough for a JD fascia, though I wouldn't be surprised to see all Scott's disappear before too long.
