No-one condones that. If I'd have been in the area I would have stuck up for the two Swansea fans, if the clip is what it seems and those two jacks had not been looking for trouble beforehand. I witnessed something similar last season v QPR at home but it was the Rangers fans who were smacking people in St Stephens after the game. It was 30 odd v one, and several young males from Hull got a slap if they'd been to the match or not. It was cowardly behaviour at it's worse. I tried to step in several times to stop it but no-one else wanted to know. No security or police in sight, there must have been cctv in St Stephens but nothing came of it. I found it shameful at the time. When the QPR gang finally got into Paragon station to catch their train, and I was right in the middle of them trying to stop them hitting young lads, there were about 30 police on the track side of the platform who did nothing. Totally Useless.
I do wonder how brave they'd be facing equal odds, usual cowardly lil ****s acting tough when in a gang against a whole 2 !
Sickening when you hear of gangs onto one or two either at football or out and about. Up and down the country they swan around not only bullying but filming it as well. Nasty little twats. Good for you trying to stick up for the few as it’s a dangerous act to try nowadays.
Weren’t you just defending Klopp acting the tough guy on another thread? Similar antics of squaring up to someone then stopping at the invisible wall because it’s ‘passion’.
Yeah, the difference is I wouldn’t expect anything less from pissed-up hooligans looking for a scrap. A manager sprinting along the touch line and squaring up to someone then stopping and running back once he reached the fourth official is even more embarrassing.
It's bad enough that they thought that it was acceptable to gang up on two lads that were clearly not there for trouble, but what on earth posses someone to post it on line as if it's something to be proud of? Chances are, some poor innocent will get the payback for that bit of 'bravado'.
This is my concern too. If these silly little twats keep singling out opposing fans then it will get to the stage that it will be a 'payback' at away games...That could be a concern for all of us that travel, irrespective of age.
Just seen another post from Swansea fan re having stuff launched at them. Sooner or later the club or some poor sod is going to cop one.
As I said, the girl who works for me said it very much is the norm for them to be carrying something. The reason 13 are on remand is because they're all incriminated. I went to jail in around 2000 for ABH. I was a professional boxer at the time, I smacked someone in waterfront who threw the first punch and I paid a heavy price (6 months) for hitting him back. I broke his jaw with one shot. When I was in jail almost every bloke I met was in there for similar things. Nobody had used a weapon. However now if you talk to a screw they will tell you the jail is full of offenders who have used weapons. I mean to show you no disrespect my friend but if you think there is no issue with people carrying nowadays then I fear you're being nieve.
