Mate, they should stop and apologise personally to every one of those fans for the ****show they've produced recently and spend as much time as the fans want with them. Maybe spending time with the fans might just make them realise how much it means to some people.

Paul Hart (my favourite player at the time btw) gave me an autograph when I was about twelve or thirteen at a club open day pre season at ER, not because he was a nice bloke but because I kicked the Cnut in the shin when he kept passing autograph books above my head when I had queued for over an hour waiting for one. I dunno anymore. Genuinely don't know what would turn things around. Send em in to the factories and building sites to spend a day or two with some of the fan base to see how hard they work or even a glimpse on what it means to the people. It's not like they are improving from football training.
