Spence, Gil, Bissouma and Sarr were badly managed IMHO... not a surprise that they haven't delivered
Bissouma continues to baffle me: Conte seemed to think he could mold him into a Kante-like midfielder...but why not just buy a Kante-like midfielder and have them slot into the team immediately, instead of buy a midfielder who isn't Kante-like and spend 3-4 months trying to make them as Kante-like as possible?

Honestly, with the right direction Sarr could've been a Kante-like midfielder this season given his game has certain similarities with Kante's, albeit he's not a generation talent like Prime Kante was

Anyway, after saying "Kante" so many times in one sentence, the word has now lost all meaning for me

To add to this, what benefit would we honestly get from keeping him but loaning Gil and spence? Lucas was always leaving so absolutely nothing to learn from playing him whereas at least we’d know whether spence is good or bad or whether Gil does have what it takes to cut it in the prem.

Instead we’ll have both of them back next year, probably in the same situation and we’ll keep loaning them out till their contract runs out.

There’s zero benefit to anything when Lucas Moura is involved.

He’s one of a number of players that epitomise everything that’s bad with this club.

As you’ve more or less said, we’re wasting potentially good young players but persisting with dead dogs.

I’d hoped Mason, being a former academy player himself that needed chances when he was young, would’ve been able to provide some minutes for people in situations that he was once in. Disappointing.

We've conceded 3 or more goals in 8 matches this season.
We've conceded 2 goals in 12 in another 12 matches.
We've kept 15 clean sheets ( 1 against a championship team and 1 against a league on team)

Think we've played 46 matches.

Dier, Royal, Longlet, perisic, sanchez, Lloris and Forster all need replacing this summer.

Theres a young lad Cameron Carter Vickers getting rave reviews week in, week out for Celtic. Maybe we should look at him? <whistle>

The Jota incident was subjective. But where subjectivity comes in, you can bet on the team in red getting the decision. So back to our discussion about whether there is actually bias in officiating. Would anyone like to re-examine their position having seen today's match? (And you can be sure that if Son had scored the one he hit the post, VAR would certainly have given offside.)

There should have been more extra time as well.

Different day...same ****.

Whoever takes over as coach has got one hell of a job on their hands...but possibly not as big as the DoF.

It's a ****ing mess.

Whilst that is mostly true, we could easily have won that game. So I would suggest it's not quite as bad as it seems, and not as bad as is portrayed by most.

Oh, and on the "red", you can be sure if that happens again then it will be a red (depending on the team of course).

We cannot defend...and don't have more than 2 or 3 players capable of defending in the squad...and Dier's been offered/will be offered a new contract.

Realistically, it's not defence which is the issue

Yes some elements can be improved upon - Lloris' decline post-WC has been shocking at times, and we clearly need a Ledders-like CB next season to either partner Romero in 4ATB or be the CCB in a 3ATB formation - but the issue is our midfield continues to be overrun and that is what is making defensive errors so fatal

Add some steel in midfield and that is where we regain control of matches, and that's also where we probably have to be more brutal as it's easy to swing the axe at our defence (Sanchez having a year on his contract makes him easily expendable, for the most obvious example) but midfield requires some far bolder calls to be made, for example of our non-loaned CMs the player who would be first on the chopping block for me would have to be Hojbjerg - and that's a pretty f'n big call to make given the guy has almost literally run his legs off for us in the past three years, but that's how brutal our midfield overhaul needs to be

If I were in charge...well one, the club would be paying The FA at least six figures due to me tearing into officials (probably seven after today...), but I'd certainly be pushing to sign Gundogan on a free this summer partly so we have a short term solution to have a controlling influence in midfield sorted PDQ, and partly to have both Skipp and Sarr work with him in training so they hopefully pick up a few things

Came on to say well done
Thought your boys did really well turning that around

then saw all the venom towards us
I think you are right - pretty much all of you
Jota should have walked because Mane did
However - please note a lot of decisions went your way too

In the build up to your equaliser Davies clearly fouled Salah not the other way around

a blatant pen was missed at three nil and Skipp (I think) should also have seen a red card

It’s a shame Mason didn’t get hold of the squad a few weeks ago - as I think you would be pushing for 4th hard

the refs were **** - utter **** today but I don’t think it was as one sided as many of you were making out.

On the result personally I felt you deserved the win and draw at the least.

Pretty accurate in general. Liverpool didn't create any shots on goal really. All four goals came from errors by Spurs. Our goals were all pretty good but we didn't capitalise on the two big errors Liverpool made.
Thought it should have been a penalty when Konate rugby tackled Richarlison and a second yellow too.
