We need Madison imo. Then Longstaff, Bruno and Maddi can be swapped around and they can rest them

That would be ideal. And for years they would work.

    With Joelinton and Willock. Amazing.

That would be porn, Gordon needs to be in the front 3, he's not gonna assimilate into midfield like Willock has done.

Agree and we've been fortunate injury wise with the two Brazilians

Look at the form at the business end of the season. Fantastic.

I'm not sure I can remember a more technically gifted player for us tbh.

Okay Bruno, Joelinton etc have exceptional skills and work rate, but Isak looks like he can do anything and go on a run and never lose the ball, it's Gazza esque.

If he had have scored even one of those shots he'd be looking good. As it is, he'll need to wait for his chances. He'll do ok given time.

He doesn't have the strikers instincts to be the main man in front of goal, but give Isak a bit of space, a yard to run and he can get past anyone. The ball sticks to his feet, but he has intelligence to go with that, he knows when to pass and when to shoot. He doesn't think "I need to score" he is happy to assist, when he scores he congratulates the assister.

I think if Wilson is getting too tired to be in the starting 11 every week, we need to sign a new forward and stick Isak to that left side from now on. From that position he will one day be one of the best in europe, no doubt.

They're just lucky Everton and Forest are so bad.

On the evidence of today, Soton had some wait, but it was way too late for that, they're down.

Meaning it's also going to be 2 from 4 from Everton, Forest, Leicester and Leeds. Everton and Leeds looking most likely right now.

I'd previously not thought that Isak was an out and out striker, but the striker's instinct he showed Vs Forest, Spurs, Brentford etc suggested otherwise.

Today it wasn't really happening, and we needed Wilson for the striker role, but I'm not going to necessarily say he can't be a central striker yet. Yes another striker in the summer please, but Isak continues to amaze me the more I see of him, so I won't write him off as a striker just yet.

Gordon looks like he's going to need alot of coaching.... let's remember he's come from a side that can't play football into a well oiled machine.

Tough learning curve for him the world wants him to fail... looks like a young player with a huge fee on his back for sure .

    Poor today

Perhaps its his upper body strength that holds him back there. When he has people knocking him about he can't just plough through.
