Considering we had nothing to play for I enjoyed it more than the win against Watford. I think the atmosphere helped which was really good. Tufans shot hitting the bar was unlucky, Allayar for me didn’t look confident of beating their fullback the full game and hopefully young Harry who looks intelligent when on the ball is going to develop into a very good player for us in the future.
If Vaughan wants to reach a top level, which he could, he needs to do what Bowen did and work his balls off on improving his weaker foot, like every other option we have on the wing all v one footed which makes it easier to play against, the goal tho showed that he can go outside even if he did use his right to knock it in the middle
I said to my daughter today “Vaughan must think his left foot is just for standing on” Someone played a cross field pass to him in the first half, he tried to control it with his right foot and it went out of play. All he needed to do was use his left
Well done Tim LT. Also Max Clark who has pissed that division at LWB. Heartbreak for Scarborough who miss out on the playoffs by two goals after drawing 3-3 with Banbury. Bloody Fylde going up.
Fylde seem to rub a lot of people up the wrong way. Follow Chester a bit from my uni days and they don't seem to like them either
Both good and looking well. Surpassed myself today, 3tuns of this board was with us but had a west stand ticket. Subtle diversion from myself, and boom we're both in the east stand without scanning in. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I’ve never understood that with pro footballers, when I was a kid playing in the playground, I was right footed, but always used to try playing with my left foot, free kicks corners, whatever, and then years and years later Beckham did the same, and look how good he was. I’ve never seen so many one footed pro footballers lately, slack ****s.
aint fylde between blackpool and preston You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy
It’s amazing how many professionals are so one footed, I said on here a long time ago Longman would improve his game so much if he used his other foot and went the odd time in a different direction just to confuse and put doubt into the fullbacks mind. Vaughan does at least go both ways but again the coaching team should be on his back about using his other foot because it gives you such a advantage. I can’t believe players go into training every day yet don’t practice with their weaker foot.
Couldn’t agree more, he’s definitely got a good football brain when on the ball but practicing with that weaker foot will improve his game no end. Its amazing how many professionals are the same. My old man made me wear a sand shoe on my strong foot and a boot on my weaker one for a couple of years which did the trick for me, mind you i was kicking one of those rock hard lace up balls. Every player should have no excuse when they train daily, yes have a weaker foot but you should be able to use it.
Their owner is a bellend, for starters. They were a pub team that a local businessman bankrolled, bought their way up the pyramid while being complete tosspots to nearly everybody they came across. They came dangerously close to being promoted to the EFL, but Salford out twatted them and beat them in the playoff final. Ferriby had beaten them a couple of seasons before to be promoted to the National League.
i think I must have been watching a different game to LR. Long periods of no possession and then brief possession before losing the ball back to let’s be honest was a dog **** ordinary side. Tan challenged LR to get to tenth this season. He failed. I honestly think this boring football is the best it gets with LR.
