I can understand playing it sensibly to take the point we need but surely we need to step it up more than this? We are inviting pressure
They've had a lot more of the ball. We've had moments going forward but no sustained pressure. We are defending deep and inviting them to have possession and attack, but then we are quick to pounce when the ball is there to be won.
We're sitting far too deep which invites them on to attack us. We just had a chance of counter attack but Chair tried to take three of their players on and lost the ball instead of looking to pass it. Sometimes his decision making is really frustrating.
Not at all. Really hit and hope, lump it forward stuff. That said, they aren't much better and their fans look disinterested. From the audio, you'd think we are at home.
They are having a lot of the ball, but their final ball is consistently poor, and so their attacks result in nothing. Good cross from Chair, just behind Adomah.
Laird tracks back and wins the ball just before they clear it, but slides in/falls awkwardly. He's down and looks in pain.
There's 45 minutes of lost life: Although, in a way I am 45 minutes up because it seemed like 3 hours. Edit: (and I am a maths teacher )
Not a pretty match, but certainly secure defensively. I guess the home crowd is frustrated and is not amused which might lead to some errors in 2nd half. Great noise from the traveling R’s!
