Bought on Soccer Manager Worlds, thanks for the recommendation :)

Good job it's not Womannsverk, because you'd never be done.

Makes sense that starting line up, Ekwah or Michut was the only position I wasnt sure about. Watford are quick on the transition so makes sense having Ekwah starting plus means Michut likely to play the last 30 mins when the game is opening up and he can get on the ball

Would have liked to see Watson ahead of Taylor on the bench but that's the only change I would have made

Don’t think Taylor’s come on at all has he? Seems strange unless it’s just incase cirkin goes down?

Agreed, he seems a top lad but just needs to get out and play 1st team football

Anderson will cover for Cirkin I reckon that's why I would have liked another attacking player on the bench

I found him on football manager a couple of years ago marra, way cheaper than wyscout. Filip Ronningen Jorgensen from Odd is another that FM would suggest is a talented Norwegian midfielder.

This might be the last time he turns out in red and white at the SOL. I reckon he'll be busting a gut to turn it on today. He's clearly enjoyed his time here and hope he goes out with a bang at Wembley.

Looks to be a back 4. Ekwah and Neil playing a little deeper to provide that support and let the front 4 do their thing.

Stream sorted, popped over the club for 3 or 4 swift pints of whiskey and soda. Can't wait. Unbelievable achievement being in the position we're in. I'd say they need to take the brakes off and just go for it but I'm not sure we've got brakes anyway. HTL

This team could easily move between a back 4 and a back 3 , with a line up similar to TopCats earlier post, ie Patto, Hume, O/9 , Cirkin / Gooch, Neil, Ekwah, Clarke / with Roberts and Amad behind Joffy . This would be my set up tbh . Personally I would also have had Michut in ahead of Ekwah to start the game as he is slightly the more defensive player , but its a marginal one . Looks a good team to me . OaU

I think spotting a player perform well in his current environment is pretty easy. Being able to identify the exact skillset and extrapolate it to accurately predict how a footballer will adapt to a different environment or how he might develop in his career is really bloody difficult.

What kind of hit rate would a good scout see as being successful?

No idea tbh as I will often find a player every single week who looks the part but you are basing it on the game you are watching. Someone can then watch them the week after and they are then awful - so hard to judge. At the team I scout for we normally have 4/5 different scouts watch a player before we make a bid for them, then its down to the chief scout and DoF to meet them and get to know them better
