****. I hate being right all the time. Poor side Blackpool mind. There was no kitchen sink coming at Millwall there. Poor effort imo.
It didn't help that they had to play the last 13 minutes with 10 men. That may not be that bad a result for us. We always seem to play better when we are being challenged. We reached the play off slots twice earlier in the season and fell away. Starting tomorrows game outside the top six might just give us that extra impetus -I hope! Bring on the Feckin' Hornets and let's kick some ass
We won't get sixth without two wins so, you're right, nothing has changed. A 1-0 win puts us above Millwall on a plus three GD, four in reality ... iirc. A win at Preston and there's nothing they can do imo.
Funny interview with Flemming he seems a character. Looks to be a useful player big powerful young lad with attacking ability.
Right and we avoided the 2-3 goal millwall win that would have tightened it. Does look like two wins needed now, but any win tomorrow and then see where we are.
There's some terrible "football" played nowadays mind. Would love to know how long the ball was in play from minute 75 to 13765148 or whenever it finished. It's painful and see it so often. It's not game management it's cheating and awful. I understand players not rushing but my god . . . While I'm on a rant the not giving second yellows that we see so often pisses me off too, ref making a big deal of if you do that again I'll send you off. Just red card the vicious talentless bastards, do your job man. Sorry feel like I was having League One flashbacks there and in the modern parlance it's triggering
With they're goal difference it was never an issue them making the playoffs, let's hope they're on the beach today.
It was impossible anyway. Watford can only get to 65 points. Coventry already on 66. Millwall and Blackburn (prior to last night's result) were both on 65, but they play each last game of the season, so any result would have put one, or both, over 65 points.
Didn’t know that about their last game. Is that the Sky games sorted? Maybe depends on today I suppose
I reckon the last 2, maybe 3 rounds of games all matches should be played at the same time. The game is missing out on twists and turns and excitement otherwise. I dont like the idea of teams being relegated or promoted without kicking a ball and by the last week alot has been decided.
Birmingham recently beat Blackburn and Millwall ... ... be great if they do the hat trick today. Happily though, we're not relying on other results ... ... win today and it's all in our control.
Palace v Wet Sham on the lunchtime game. Had to turn the sound off - can't stand that "faux posh geordie" accent the presenter has. Just speak in your normal accent man instead of putting on a voice
