I see those two people that climbed the Dartford crossing ended up with prison sentences, something like nigh on 3 years each - As much as they were a pain in the arse, I think 3 years, even if they don't serve 2/3rd their time is quite harsh. It was the choice of the authorities to close the brdige not that of the protestors, I get the danger if they fall or drop something could be a risk to the public, but I still feel it's a massive over-reaction. If they had have let the traffic still flow, their protest would have been pointless, thus they wouldn't bother with those tecniques in future.
